This is another attempt at character pairs, except we pick 3 characters besides Kirby himself. This is operating under the assumption that Kirby is mandatory as previous Kirby games require Kirby himself, so I imagine even Star Allies made Kirby mandatory. Therefore, Kirby himself is excluded from the option, and instead 3 of his allies are grouped each time, so that they form 4 characters. Even though Star Allies paired certain characters together, I decided to take the liberty and separate grouped playables in-game into separate characters, so basically: Rick, Kine, Coo, Adelaide, Ribbon and the three Mage Sisters are each separated into different characters, so that the group of 3 characters are rounded nicely.

Moreover, unlike the Mario Character Pairs which I did earlier, this time after saving every group, all the safe groups are ungrouped and you can form different groups if you so wish to, meaning if you think certain characters should be grouped differently, you can form anew. Example:
