June 11, everyone. It may be just me, but the eleven months since last E3 have gone by so fast. But now that we know when the big day will come, I figured that we might as well start posting wish lists. Here's mine:

-A new Mario RPG for Switch; preferably M&L, but I'd dig a new PM too. If it's an M&L, it would be really cool if they could finally add multiplayer, something I've wanted for the series ever since I first laid eyes on Dream Team back in 2015. A PM would be great too, and I don't care what gameplay approach they choose as every game in the series has been great in its own right (in my opinion, at least). Considering that we just got a BIS remake in January, a PM is more likely; however, the devs at IS may be too caught up with the new Fire Emblem to work on PM, so I dunno.

-A new mainline Kirby game. Considering that Star Allies got wrapped up relatively recently, back in November, I won't get my hopes up too high. But it would be really cool if it actually happened. But if we get a spinoff instead, I'd really like Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble 2 to finally see release. It was originally designed to demonstrate connectivity between GameCube and GBA; now it could do the same between Switch and smartphones. Kirby has yet to appear on smartphones, too, so that would make a wonderful mobile debut. But if that's too far-fetched, at least a Kirby Air Ride 2 would more than satisfy me.

-Bandana Waddle Dee for Smash Ultimate DLC! I know at this point he's pretty unlikely right now, but I'll never stop hoping. Someday...

-In terms of Mario Sports games, I'd really like a Mario Baseball for Switch. Definitely my favorite subseries of Mario Sports. Of course, I'd love a Mario Golf as well, after how great World Tour was.

-SNES games for Switch Online? I know this isn't the typical thing you see at E3 (all the old VC announcements were saved for the standard Directs), but who wouldn't want to see that?

-More info on Mario Maker 2, Luigi's Mansion 3, and Mario Kart Tour, obviously!
 
Nintendo seems to like to making a final promotion on a game on E3, so I won't be surprised that Super Mario Maker 2 will be shown in some form. In fact, I can see the repeat of E3 2015 where players will race in levels made in Super Mario Maker 2 as a grand spectator event.

I felt that the next Smash DLC will have a much closer announcement to release this time, unlike Joker's 4 month period. In that case, I hope the DLC is centered around indie representation, but based on speculation and some datamine proofs, it's unlikely to be what I wished it to be.

Now for my wishes:
- New Mario Golf game. Mario Tennis should have wrapped up its updates by the time June comes around (save for perhaps a balance patch), so announcing a new Mario Golf game would be quite a treat.
- Super Mario Party DLC. Having 4 unique boards is pretty sparse, and I hope that this time they have a substantial update (more boards, especially) that would last until the next Mario Party game rolls around.
- Doraemon: Story of Seasons showcase. That game will be released in Japan not long after E3, but I hope that because it's the first time Doraemon gets an English release, something will be shown.
- New Pushmo game. This nice little series is pure puzzle goodness, with abstract blockiness that makes it easy to understand.
- Revival of Chibi-Robo. Zip Lash should not be the game that determine Chibi Robo's future since it's not what made Chibi Robo a charming game.
- If a new Wario game is announced, include Waluigi in that game too.

-metroid news (not prime 4 but a metroid 5 finally continuing the 2d story past fusion would be Very Good, especially after the teaser in Samus Returns)
-new f-zero game (i recognize this is an impossible dream)
-reimu for smash

if i don't get any of these four, i will be slightly disappointed but not really surprise since these aren't big name definite reveals

also mario golf would be nice, especially if it's more like toadstool tour. world tour never really grabbed me the way tt and at did honestly
 
Games:

★ A new Paper Mario title on the Switch that brings back original characters, the partner system and other elements from the first three Paper Mario games while maybe salvaging some of the more positive aspects of Sticker Star and Color Splash.

★ A new Mario and Luigi game that maybe has the bros. begrudgingly team up with Wario and Waluigi to work towards a common goal?

★ I suppose the timing is just right for a new Mario Golf too, right?

★ Wario Land Switch. WITH NEW FUNKY WALUIGI MODE! :waluigi:

★ Star Fox Zero Deluxe or just a new Star Fox game in general.

★ Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Switch.

★ Drill Dozer 2. (Pretty please, GameFreak.)

★ Pikmin 4.

★ Animal Crossing Switch info.

★ Spyro Reignited Trilogy Switch port.

DLC ideas:

★ Super Mario Odyssey: Luigi's Paranormal Misadventures! - Initially I was just thinking playable Luigi in Odyssey DLC, but y'know how Splatoon 2's Octo Expansion gave you a whole new campaign fresh with new original content along with the playable Octolings? What if Odyssey did something like that too, like instead of just having Luigi go on Mario's quest he can have his own unique adventure in Odyssey that could also maybe tie in with LM3 as well? Instead of having a Bonneter, Luigi's moveset could even utilize the Poltergust and his balloon pack in some way and he has to go around the various kingdom mopping up ghoulish ghosts and Boos. :boo:

★ Super Mario Odyssey: Peach's Globe-trotting Vacation! - Similar deal as suggested above, Peach's unique adventure in Odyssey with Tiara that takes place after the ending of the main game. She retains her floating ability but much like Mario can Cap-ture various things and use their abilities to her advantage.

★ Super Mario Odyssey: Isle Delfino Panic! - This one could just have Mario and Cappy heading off to Isle Delfino to find Bowser Jr. and the Broodals causing chaos.

★ Like Winstein suggested, more content for Super Mario Party would be nice too.

★ Tingle and Jill (Drill Dozer) for Smash Ultimate DLC!

Misc:

★ Themes for Switch home menu, it's long overdue. Also folders and more organizing options would be appreciated, I know that the recent update added some but I'd like to manually organize the order of my games.

I swear if IS doesn't let me know about more FE Three Houses shit...

Sword and Shield is also something I really wanna know more about. What requires the online, what doesn't? What are the features, the similarities to older games? And yes that applies to FE too, but with less emphasize on the online.

Mario Maker 2 I feel we actually know enough about to say that it's definitely something to look out for, but since it's a Mario title of course they are gonna have a big spot for it or something. I mean whatever not like Mario is the most popular Nintendo franchise or something like that.

Oh yeah Luigi's Mansion 3. And Link's Awakening, those too.
 
ok memes aside I do actually want to see Bravely Third revealed and it's def at the top of the list of my most realistic hopes but in addition to just that i'm hoping we get:

-actual information/trailers for Starcraft and Elder Scrolls VI.

-honestly i'm not too interested in seeing Fire Emblem: Three Houses at e3 and won't care if it's not there because it's coming out less than two months later and I feel there's already a decent enough amount of info about it already.

-a new Zelda reveal would be nifty but with Link's Awakening remake already coming out later this year I doubt it'll happen so breathes are being held for that.

-iirc there's an upcoming Ass Creed coming out that's gonna be about vikings and shit which sounds kinda neat so I am looking forward to a trailer/some info on it.

-something interesting from mario that i'll actually want to purchase day 1. mario kart 9 or old school paper mario or an actually imaginative 2d platformer something

-hideo kojima comes back to konami and announces metal gea-if only such a thing would happen

-something new that'll be fun af from any company i dont care who

Ha! Konami is not really much of a “game” company anymore as much as it is a casino company.
 
My wishlist is expectation of unrelenting cynicism for corporate shareholdery circle wanking but beyond this, some other wishlists

I'm the only person here who really wants Mario + Rabbids 2, as it needs a new entry, expand on characters, weapon styles, environment, play styles, and no forcing people to play a certain setup especially with Mario Donkey Kong. I also want more information about Luigi's Mansion 3, I need to know if there is a coop multiplayer mode of any sort like Scarescraper, but better (think more MARIO characters).

I wanna see how much Beyond Good and Evil will turn out as I'm concerned about its future and I am kinda sure it's why we don't have new Rayman games in what feels like forever.

Also want a new Mario sport but Camelot just drip feeds Mario Tense Asses and I don't know if they are developing a new sports game or not. The Mario Soccer PunchOut Company is making Luigi's Mansion I'm guessing so their hands are probably full, though this is not confirmed, only guessing.

Pikmin might be expected as Pikmin hasn't skipped a console yet, so I think that might be a reasonable prediction.

Also, isn't there an Animal Crossing for the Switch too? As well as Bayo 3?

There's the microscopic chance that Spore may get C&C'd and receive a remaster of the game that came out ten years ago, but hell...it's EA and the size of that chance is the same size as your creature in the Cell stage, so whatever.

New Mario Party entry seems pretty likely.

Of course, information on Smash DLC, yeah.

Not sure if we'll get information for Back 4 Blood. I think development just started so it's not likely they'll have anything to show.

New F-Zero sounds swell.

New Pikmin too.

Pokemon Sword and Shield info would be great. Maybe we'll get to see the title legendaries.

Well, you know. New Paper Mario that's like the first 3, yadda yadda yadda we go through this every year since I started watching E3s and it's just routine at this point, not a serious expectation :/

Maybe Partners in Time DX on Switch. Maybe a new Mario Kart. Idk at this point. Pretty sure at least SMM2 will be there so that's exciting.
