Why Widows Media Player saying unknown artist and unknown album

I am in WMP and it says unknown artist when I play my J.D. Sumner, George Strait, And Ernest Tub albums. Also it says unknown album. Why is this?

Probably because it's not tagged with those labels. I'm not sure if WMP lets you edit tags for the music files.

Have you tried editing their tags through there then? If that doesn't work, you can try Foobar or even exporting through Audacity. I don't usually use WMV though, prefer Media Monkey.
