Some of my favorite art is from the game Mappy

The game takes the classic cat and mouse scheme from cartoons, hence the art is made to look like one, however, the art also incorporates the style of classic manga, giving it a charming look that is instantly recognizable

ive never even played it but the japanese art for the guardian legend is beautiful and the fact that localizations didn't retain it is a testament to the fact that western society is beyond redemption

The flyer for Armed Police Unit Gallop sells the premise of "R-Type spinoff set on Earth" way better than the actual game does

i really really like the pikmin 1 renders. they have that 90s renders feel which i love a crapton!! even if they dont look realistic against obvious photo backgrounds they still look so charming i am in Love

sure pikmin 3 renders are incredible in just how much they manage to look like Real Life but. do they have olimar looking the happiest i think weve ever seen him before or since
