What's a patroller?

A position where users can do stuff like blocking users and hiding revisions, getting them used to having some admin powers before they are promoted to sysops, where they can do more stuff like deleting pages. They mainly, well, patrol the wiki, preventing vandalism and marking edits as patrolled (meaning that they are looked over and are good edits).
