Stuck at home due to current events? Well, if you need a good distraction to keep yourself occupied, take a look at issue 156 of The 'Shroom!
And if that's not enough for you to read, you should consider taking a look at the overhauled Manual of Style. We've tried to bring it up to date, getting rid of some old rules that no longer apply so strictly and making it clearer what The 'Shroom's minimum standards of quality are. As you can see, we're not looking for the world's greatest writers! We've also tried to include some handy notes about basic formatting for a 'Shroom section, so, even if you've never written for us before, you should have an easy guide to getting started.
Be sure to check out Anton's Director's Notes in Critic Corner, too. If you have a one-off review you want to write for Critic Corner (what kind of review? That's up to you. It can be a review of almost anything), you can send it directly to the Critic Corner Director instead of going through the formal application process. As long as it meets our minimum standards, it'll be included! So, please, if you have some thoughts on something you've experienced that you want to share, write up a review and send it in.
May all of you out there stay healthy, and enjoy the issue!
