I'm a big fan of the art of Mike Minglola, it's dark yet lighthearted in many of his comics, it's substance and style, pretty nifty

of course im talking about super heckif mario but like the 2d art brings me so much joy especially when you see characters interacting and being expressive

while i like anime art styles, i prefer old cartoons, mostly because there are so many more things they can do with the characters, and it has its charm that makes it stand out
