this is extremely late but i have been dead however i've decided to go ahead and post this from the afterlife
anyway welcome to the 20th winners hurt and heal!! wow!! 20 volumes!!!!!! you'd think I would have more to say considering that this is a big milestone but I really don't. but yeah, we have twenty new characters who want to join the winners gallery! wheee. note that since I'm so late there are a few winners that will be saved for volume 21 - specifically, Dot Warner, Midna, and Ravio will have to wait until next time
with that, the rules:
- as usual, the maximum HP is 50
- you only have two points to use per turn. hurting x2 and healing x2 in the same post is not a valid move
- taking two or more turns in a row is not allowed, even if someone posts without actually participating. once you make your move you'll have to wait for someone else to go before going again
- items back again, one can be used every ten posts. due to the change in forum software we'll have the Post count: at the bottom so please be sure to add to it each post! here are the items, mainly stolen from volume 19 with the last item changed to reflect volume 19's winner, King K. Rool
10th post: Green Shell from Mario Kart (Hurt x4)
20th post: Healing Sprout from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Heal x3)
30th post: Chain Chomp from Mario Kart: Double Dash!! (Hurt x6)
40th post: Energy Drink from Kirby (Heal x5)
50th post: Stairface Ogre from Super Mario Odyssey (Hurt x7)
60th post: 1-Up from Super Mario Bros. (Heal x6)
70th post: Klaptrap from Donkey Kong Country (Hurts the character by 1 every post for 5 posts)
80th post: Power Shield from Crash Team Racing (Locks the character's HP so they can't be affected for 5 posts)
90th post: Energy Tank from Metroid (Instantly heal a character to 20 HP)
100th post: Blast-O-Matic from Donkey Kong 64 (Instantly brings any character's HP to 1)
