100%.

I, for one, have tasted the sweet, sweet nectar that is completing a video game at 100%.

Super Mario 64's paintings hold no more stars, nor do the rabbits hold the keys.
Super Mario 3D Land's flags fly gold, red, and green, all the way to the secret final level.
Haltmann has been purged from Star Dream in Kirby: Planet Robobot.
A massive top hat adorns Peach's Castle in Super Mario Odyssey.
Kirby's Star Allies only need complete their own journeys.
Kirby Fighters Deluxe holds no new challengers.
Team Kirby needs only to Deluxe-ify their tools.
Paper Mario has become the Origami King.
Mario, Luigi, & Bowser's Minions have trained to the max and made it home safely.
Mario, Luigi, and Bowser have completed every challenge that awaits them.
Frisk has left the Underground with their friends, happy.
Mario & Sonic made it out of Tokyo '64, alive and well.
Mario and Luigi have powered the Comet Observatory to the max.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii has no secrets from me, up to 9-8. (Although I haven't played it in forever. Kinda want to pick it up again now that I beat DKCTF...)
Galeem and Dharkon have no more power over my World of Light.

What about you? What have you 100%ed and what are you close to?

(Since this is a list of my 100%ed games, I'll keep updating it.)

I don't exactly have the best follow-through when it comes to 100%ing video games... Only examples I can think of right now are Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 3D Land, I was also pretty close on NSMB and NSMBWii last time I played them.

Oh yeah, I also have all of the spirits in SSBU, so that's something.

I've 100%'d Mario Kart DS and 7, but apart from that, I just tend to complete the game at any%.

ive 100% a bunch of games because i just liked them that much! the list includes:
-mario odyssey (twice, but another save file was real close to it besides two moons i didnt bother getting then)
-harry potter and the philosophers stone (it feels stressful bc if you miss a card on a level you will not be getting it ever)
-harry potter and the chamber of secrets (twice? thrice? i got all cards that many times at least, not sure about secrets)
-harry optter and the prisoner of azkaban (fun fact: at least on pc, 100% is mandatory to beat the game at all! padding!)
-rayman 3
-rayman origins (also twice)
-rayman legends
-mario + rabbids (both basegame with no dlc challenges i havent bought those, and also the donkey kong adventure campaign)
-donkey kong country 2
-how much does mario maker 2 count with me beating every level in the story mode and also completing that luigi statue
im also very close to 100% dkc3 too (only need to finish off krematoa and some banana birds i believe), and im getting there with dkc1
thats more games than i was expecting O_O

I'm not very good at 100%ing games, but here's a list of the ones that I have:

- Super Mario Bros.
- Super Mario Bros. 2
- Super Mario Bros. 3
- Super Mario Land
- Super Mario 3D Land
- Super Mario Maker 2 (if you only count Story mode and disregard the fact that I have no gold stars and am not in any leaderboards)
- Paper Mario: The Origami King

... That's it.

Rayman Origins (the goddamn copy I had crashed in the thundercloud level, so that is 100% in my eyes)
Rayman Legends (the last Rayman costume was hell to grind for though)
Mario Kart 64
Mario Kart: Double Dash
Mario Kart Wii
Mario Kart DS
Mario Kart 8 (not the deluxe version, time trials is a snore and the gold tires is an ugly-ass part)
Mario Kart 7 (the gold body was hell to grind for)
Super Mario 64 DS (multiple times)
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed (unless you count achievements? I don't count anything that requires I go online)
New Super Mario Bros. DS
Super Mario Advance
Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World
Super Smash Bros. (the rest had stuff I couldn't do, such as Melee's All-Star on Hard trophy and a lot of single player content I couldn't be arsed to do)
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS
Kirby Air Ride
Kirby & the Amazing Mirror
Kirby: Squeak Squad
Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland
Kirby Canvas Curse
Kirby's Return to Dreamland
Kirby's Epic Yarn
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time...?
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
Diddy Kong Racing
WarioWare: Touched!
Sonic the Hedgehog

I'm so close to getting all achievements in Left 4 Dead 2, though. Just have to do the rest of the levels in Expert.

...oh they patched in new achievements.........................goddammit

Super Paper Mario
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Super Mario 3D Land

Regarding Mario, I've 100% Super Mario 64 (Several times)/Super Mario 64 DS, Sunshine, Galaxy, 3D Land, 3D World, NSMB, NSMBWii, NSMBU, Mario Kart 64, Double Dash, Luigi's Mansion, Super Princess Peach, Donkey Kong Returns, Tropical Freeze, and I think Bowser's Inside Story.

Non-Mario games being The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Fire Emblem Awakening (aside from all those S-Supports, but whatever), Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, and Metroid Prime.

I don't really put a lot effort into 100%ing stuff anymore, because games are getting a lot more content shoved into them nowadays, but maybe one day I'll get everything in Dragon Quest IX.

As far as I know, the only game I've ever gotten 100% on was Lego Star Wars II on my PS2 back in the day.

I don't have the time nor do I really care to 100% any games really, I think I only managed that 100% was because I just played the game so much lol.

Here's my list of what I've completed in SSBU:
Smash
  • There's nothing to do here besides unlock Fighters, which I've done
Spirits
  • I've collected every spirit, including DLC and event ones.
  • On top of that, I currently have at least one of every spirit and all Primaries have at least one version to rank 99. - including both variations of enhanceable spirits. (Which required me to get Marx and Dracula twice.)
  • I've cleared World of Light at 100%. (Watch me call it World of Plight someday)
Games & More
  • I've cleared Classic Mode as everyone to date.
  • I've cleared Century Smash as everyone.
  • I've made it all the way through the roster in All-Star Smash.
  • Played Home Run Contest with everyone.
Vault
  • I've collected every song (Including DLC songs and Mii songs), Mii costume (Excluding DLC costumes), completed every challenge, and seen every movie.
Online
  • I've gotten King Dedede, Zelda, and weirdly enough, Sephiroth to Elite Smash. (That was a couple months ago and I haven't played SSBU much since, so they may have fallen behind, IDK.)

But in order to get 100% my way, I have to:
  • Get the Sandbag past 100 as everyone. (Eh.)
  • Beat at least five Miis as everyone in Cruel Smash. (Yikes!)
  • Clear Classic Mode at 9.9 as everyone. (Double yikes!)
  • Get everyone to Elite Smash. (I'm a madman.)

re: ssbu I can do everything but online and matches that have multiples of the same character in play

and im too lazy to remove my mods

I'm currently 100%ing LEGO City Undercover. So far I have all of the Red Bricks and Vehicles.

As of since I joined the boards..
  • Super Mario 3D Land
  • Mario Kart 7
  • Paper Mario Sticker Star

I generally haven't 100%'ed many games I've played but when replaying Mario Kart 7 in 2017 I got all three stars on all the races on almost all to all the cc's including Mirror Mode (at least I think but I'm pretty sure)

When I said Smash Ultimate, I should've said World of Light, speicfically.

That is already hard enough but I put the challenge of not using skills or spirits whatsoever.

615 spaces to clear resulted in over 850 battles.

Let me explain step-by-step:

Fighters

Most fighters are pretty easy to get, but some require you to go out of your way or scratch your head. Richter requires you to destroy all the ghosts, which took some tries. And Chrom isn't funny. You need to re-examine an already open chest to fight him. Lucina was locked behind Omega Ridley which was a pain in my ass and only made it by cheesing the fight.

Spirits

Thanks to no-spirits and no-skills, I was able to have more fun fighting! Because I couldn't nullify some enemy effects, I was having a good time. Even hard spirits like Ho-Oh and Giga Mac were pretty easy: Ho-Oh constantly took damage because of the fire and Giga Mac was done for with an up throw and Super Punch Jump at the top of the arena. I must say though, most of the 4-Star Spirits were hard as hell. And even Kid (a 2 star or 3 star) was a bit hard because of the wind and my lack of patience. Overall, it was more fun than mashing through the menus, forward-smashing twice and repeating the process. You should try it!

Bosses

The bosses took some tries to be defeated: Marx was the easiest and Giga Bowser was probably the hardest. But then... then there's the GODDAMN FINAL BATTLE.

The platforming section was alright. But then, I reached the boss rush and realized my mistake: I didn't have autoheal because I can't use Celebi. I tried it over and over and over and over and I'm not exaggerating, I was using Mii Gunner as my first fighter, Swordfighter was next and finally, Mii Brawler. I had to use a set path:

Ganon with Gunner
Dracula with Gunner and Swordfighter
Marx with Swordfighter
Galleom with Swordfighter
Rathalos with Swordfighter and Brawler
Giga Bowser with Brawler

Ganon: I found out I had an easy time using Gunner against Ganon.

Dracula: Fighting Dracula with that moveset was a death sentence. No matter what I did, Gunner always fell with Dracula.

Marx and Galleom: Marx was personally easy for me, and Galleom was simple: Attack, get away, shoot shurikens while it attacks, rinse and repeat.

Rathalos: Like with Gunner and Dracula, I couldn't get past Rathalos without dying.

Giga Bowser: Spam Flaming Side Kick. Easy peasy.

Overall, revisiting World of Light was fun. I got to watch those slick CGI cutscenes, 100% my favorite game of all time, fight in over 600 unique brawls, and more. This is a challenge I would not recommend doing on harder than Easy for experienced players like me and maybe Hard for those who want to scream a hundred times fighting Captain K. Rool.

the dkcs just Do that i guess. its like no different from getting 100% so i dont see the point in this? dkc1 and dk64 are 101%, dkc2 is 102% and dkc3 is 103%.. but for this one if you use some cheats to make the game harder you can make it 105%
