Non-Returning Items
Coin as an Item (Pointless, since there are Coins everywhere on the track.)
Coin - Mario Kart Wii.png

Blooper (Is hardly a hindrance at all, since players can see where they're going.)
Blooper - Mario Kart Wii.png

Fake Item Box (Basically a Banana that doesn't block items, and is usually easy to spot from the real ones.)
Fake Item Box - Mario Kart Wii.png

Lucky Seven (It isn't Mario Kart 7 anymore.)
Lucky Seven - Mario Kart Wii.png

Crazy Eight (It isn't Mario Kart 8 anymore.)
Crazy Eight - Mario Kart Wii.png

Fireball (Redundant, since we already have the Fire Flower.)
Fireball - Mario Kart Double Dash.png

Yoshi Egg (Basically a Red Shell that can help your opponents, since two of the five possible items it gives out are Mushrooms and Stars.)
Yoshi Egg - Mario Kart Double Dash.png

Heart (Basically a Boo that doesn't provide invincibility, doesn't let you pick up every item, and Lightning will destroy the barrier, leaving you vulnerable once again.)
Heart - Mario Kart Double Dash.png

Chain Chomp (Basically a Bullet Bill that's hard to control, doesn't protect you from anything, and can send you flying off the track.)
Chain Chomp - Mario Kart Double Dash.png

Triple Banana (The Banana Bunch is objectively better, since it gives you five Bananas.)
Triple Banana - Mario Kart Wii.png

Feather (There are jumps everywhere on the tracks, making it pointless to have the item in races.)
Feather - Mario Kart Wii.png

Mega Mushroom (It's a weaker copy of the Star.)
Mega Mushroom - Mario Kart Wii.png

POW Block (It's a copy of the Lightning that makes you lose your items unless you're airborne and appears too frequently.)
POW Block - Mario Kart Wii.png

Thunder Cloud (Basically the worst item ever, as it harms you more than it helps.)
Thunder Cloud - Mario Kart Wii.png

Bubble (Basically a highly inferior Bullet Bill that breaks in one hit and is very slow.)
View attachment Bubble - Mario Kart Wii.png
Banana Barrel (Makes it annoying to dodge your own Bananas.)
Banana Barrel - Mario Kart Wii.png

Mushroom Cannon (Can basically help your opponents, since the Mushrooms can land near them.)
Mushroom Cannon - Mario Kart Wii.png

Dash Ring (Same as the Mushroom Cannon, but the hitbox for each ring is huge.)
Dash Ring - Mario Kart Wii.png

New Items (for Mario Kart Insanity)
Mini Mushroom (shrinks the user, but increases their speed and jump height for a brief period of time.)
Mini Mushroom - Mario Kart Wii.png

Gold Shell (acts like the Red Shell, but locks onto three opponents before breaking.)
Gold Shell - Mario Kart Wii.png

Black Shell (acts like the Green Shell, but explodes on contact with a player.)
Black Shell - Mario Kart Wii.png

Triple Black Shell (same as the Black Shell, but you get three of them.)
Triple Black Shell - Mario Kart Wii.png

New Items for Revenge of The Wheelies
Here are new items for the game after Mario Kart Insanity called Revenge of The Wheelies.

Triple Gold Shell (same as the Gold Shell, but you get three of them.)
Triple Gold Shell - Mario Kart Wii.png

Super Mega Mushroom (replaces the Mega Mushroom as its upgraded version. Provides invincibility from every item, on top of being able to flatten racers. Can be obtained in mid to low positions, and is extremely rare.)
Super Mega Mushroom - Mario Kart Wii.png

Red POW Block (replaces the POW Block as its rarer and more tolerable version. Only affects racers within the user's radius instead of affecting everyone ahead of the user. Can be avoided by getting a speed boost on top of being avoidable while airborne, and doesn't make the player lose their items.)
Red POW Block - Mario Kart Wii.png

Rain Cloud (Replaces the Thunder Cloud. Can be thrown at another racer and decreases their handling, off-road, and mini-turbo. The player can get rid of it by getting a speed boost.)

they are not going to put that much items for the next mario kart. usually, new mario kart introduce like, only 4 items or so max. double dash is an exception but it's exactly that: an exception.

I think triple gold shell is a bit to op, and as BLoF (finally figured out what that one means) said, a Mario Kart game only intoduces four new items max, so mini mushroom, gold shell, and the singular and triple black shells should be the new items. More thoughts later.

Oh, and none of the new item ideas are less powerful copies of existing items aside from the Mini Mushroom. I mean, the Black Shell and Gold Shell are more powerful copies of the Green Shell and Red Shell respectively. Mario Kart Wii had this problem with the Mega Mushroom and POW Block, which are a less powerful Star and a less powerful and more frequent Lightning respectively.

Mario Kart 64 introduced seven new items, and Super Mario Kart introduced twelve (three of which are CPU exclusive items). Those are also exceptions. But I see why I should save the Triple Gold Shell for a later Mario Kart game idea, along with a potential replacement for each of the Wii exclusive items (Mega Mushroom's replacement will be the more powerful Super Mega Mushroom, POW Block's replacement will be the weaker and more easily avoidable Red POW Block, and Thunder Cloud's replacement will be the Rain Cloud).
