Fan casting is always fun, no matter how often live action adaptations suck, let's disregard the obvious preexisting Super Show, the movie and live action ads actors to add some more variety to the conversation
Obviously, Charles Martinet is a mascot costume would be my first pick for live action Mario but let's toss that out of the way too
Now, to completely derail my variety claim, I agree with the (sincere?) take that Danny Devito would make a good Wario, dude often acts like Wario in his comedic roles and his voice while not exactly Mr. Martinet's perfect match still fits his brash and crude nature
