Mario Strikers: Battle League

but seriously THIS LOOKS FUCKING AMAZING IM SO EXCITED TO PLAY THIS WITH FRIENDS ONLINE!!!
 
So Boom Booms replace Kritters as goalkeepers, and the game sacrifices team sidekicks by letting you make other captains your teammates. I don't know what to think about this approach, but we'll likely learn more as we get closer to the release date.

any way, while i'm not big on football soccer myself, i am definitely happy to see this series finally come out of the back burner. many fans have been asking for another game in the series, and i sense it's going to deliver on many fronts.
 
I miss the edge and I especially miss Kritter, but I do appreciate how there's a lot more color and Mario-y environments.

Anybody notice how much the stadium looks like Super Nintendo World?
 
Zero interest in this series but cool to see it's back.

Next Level might be developing this so the animations are going to be crazy good after LM3
 
Nice that they made Peach and Daisy wear PROPER soccer outfits this time and not like they want money being thrown at them while passing the ball…though this game is adding customizable outfits, so that could change.

I'm sure Daisy will be in the game, but I just wanted point out she wasn't shown here.

Honestly don't care too much for the critters. I'd rather let my friends join in with their favourite character rather than 1 of the 3 koopas I chucked on my team
