This is a chess thread in the Strategy forum, where two people compete to achieve a checkmate first. Rules are simple:
1. Players MUST TAKE TURNS! Players that don't follow this rule will immediately lose!
2. Each piece must move the way they are supposed to move, as shown on the table below.
3. Players must show which piece was moved!
4. If a pawn arrives at the other end of the board, it becomes any piece of the player's choice. The only exception is the King.
5. Every piece has a different symbol depending on which side you are on! White pieces go with the first player and Black pieces go with the second player.
The board is an 8x8 board, shaped as follows.
