Secrets of Shova Mansion help (spoilers, obviously)

In the room where I get the Wonder Effect, a Shova begins pushing a gold Bowser statue to the right. Naturally, I tried pushing the statue back, but nothing happened save for a Talking Flower calling out "This way!" Surely there's a secret I'm missing, but what?

Spoiler: The solution

I can't say I blame you for having trouble finding it since it just looks like a regular wall, but you can push the right wall away and get to the rest of the area that way.
