Which is the best Mario RPG remake on the Switch?

Two very popular Mario RPGs have now had remakes on the Switch, which one is the best game?

I've played the Super Mario RPG remake, but haven't played the TTYD remake yet. I'll vote after I've played both.

Graphically, the SMRPG remake made bigger leaps, but the TTYD remake added new gameplay and stuff, so (even though I've played neither of the remakes) I think I'd go with TTYD.

Between the two, TTYD was always a much better game in the first place, so that's what I voted for in the poll, but SMRPG was a bigger improvement from the original.

Now The that I've played both remakes, I'll have to go with PMTTYD. Both remakes are great but I prefer The Thousand-Year Door because it fixes the issues the original game had and is the better game in my opinion.

I agree. Super Mario RPG's improved 3D graphics and modernized sound make the game more enjoyable to play.
