You are the King/Queen/Monarch of Boardsania for one day, then someone else has to have a turn before you can rule again. Every day you may pass one law or take one royal action. You can't make yourself rule for longer than a day, change the amount of laws that can be passed in a day, or anything else that would change the game, but you are otherwise allowed to pass any law or take any action a ruler of a fantasy kingdom might do.
