Which NS1 games you'd go with DLCs over sequels on NS2?

We know this was the case for MK8 and several games from other franchises due to WiiU's short lifespan. But since NS1 was an overall successful era, most games probably wait long enough for a brand new sequel.

Still, are there NS1 games good enough to keep going in the following NS2 era without the need of sequels?

I'd prefer sequels to dlc in most cases, and I think it makes more business sense to release new games too, since dlcs are much less likely to sell a system.

@I'm Still Evil. Yeah plus not only that but as great as DLCs are, it would also be nice if sometimes Nintendo would already have all those features in the base game instead of adding things on at the last minute that they didn't think of having in the game until the game was already out, not that I have a real problem with that because I don't, but some people would, so....

I'd rather have a new game entirely exceptions include Baby Luigi being a playable DLC of course

Well, we already know what occurred to DKC and Baseball in NS1, so the official answer is no.
Unless NS2 has much bigger success and lifespan to ensure all games can get sequels, realistically it is possible for some games to not get new releases for NS2.

I think the other common concern for character fans is that new games have more uncertain factors for the rosters. Such as, Dixie wasn't in Aces base game, and the next Tennis game also has no real garuntee for her entry. Aces DLC would offer a bigger chance than a new Tennis game to her.

Personally think that it would be funny if one of the Mario RPGs get DLC. These series are basically fan favourites so having more lore to take in would be a treat for those who loves the original characters and settings.
  • Super Mario RPG might have a new area to explore that might require the Lakitu bus (so it's basically an end-game area)
  • Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door might probably explore Luigi's (imaginary or not) side of the story
  • Mario & Luigi Brothership I do not know if the game has room for expansion but I imagine that there may be some way to explore more of the world.
I doubt Origami King would have some DLC so I excluded it.

Anyway, I think for Mario Golf, how about we go back and get a re-release of Mario Golf World Tour? Mario Golf: World Tour Deluxe has a nice ring to it.

Thank you for reading.

Can we have super marvelous wonder on a sequel and make it like super Mario 3D land? Because like, I never see stuff like that.
