Here's where to suggest any ideas for awards, nominees, tournaments, etc. Basically if you have an idea and it has anything to do with the awards ceremony or related processes, feel free to post it and we'll have a look at it and consider it and all that good stuff!
 
Most Collab Award (Bonus Star)
The Award would go to the Member that has done the most collabs with other members (this can either be in the section like say Fake News or it can be for any section of the Shroom)

That's an interesting idea, there! That said, part of the fun of Awards is seeing what nominees win in each category, and the potential for surprises. Because of that, and because the winners of each award are determined by poll votes across all three ceremony types, we avoid awards with objective numerical winners like this.

There's no surprise if you can just count the numbers up in advance and there's no need to vote!

That said, we could consider something like a Favorite Collaborations award, where individual collaborations would be considered as nominees. That's something that can be posed to the AC once it forms, and as a group it can consider the merits to an idea like that or something similar.

Yeah I like that idea more
 
We did have a Favorite Villain category in 2019 to 2021, although it included Bowser, so that would make a considerable difference, as well as the new games that released since then. That's a worthwhile suggestion.

One thought to consider is whether it would overlap with Favorite Boss Battle, a similar award that already excludes Bowser. They're different concepts, of course, and there's certainly merit in giving thought to both, but it'll be important to be cognizant of that potential overlap as the AC considers the idea.
 
I was thinking just a favorite villain in general, not just their battle. "Favorite boss battle" could be for the best boss fight experience in a Mario game.
 
Treasured Track Award:
In my Opinion Captain Toad Treasure Tracker is an Overlooked Gem of a Game and it deserves Respect so how about an award for the best Level in the game? since all the levels are unique in one way or another it would be nice to see which one would come out on top as the best
(Also this would include both the Wii U and Switch exclusive Levels along side the DLC Levels also)
Edit: OH and the Super Mario 3D World Captain Toad Levels
 
Maybe some subjects from Mario & Luigi: Brothership could get into existing categories? I can already think of some right off the top of my head.

  • Zokket and Reclusa could be favorite non-Bowser villains​
  • Glohm Bowser could be favorite boss battle​
