Though you don't really need him to tell you this, it's awesome to hear Angry Joe rant about it:

The unfortunate thing is that what's currently dominating the video game industry is "many/hardcore" video games like Madden and the FPS, so all those video game homages are going to take a backseat to the douchebag nation.

At least Jack Black managed to do what we all wanted to do. ;)

And what's this? No Nintendo? In a VIDEO GAME awards show? So you're going to have an award show for a form of media, but not include the one that's been in the biz the longest. Yeah, that makes a lot of ****ing sense.

Because Nintendo doesn't make any FPS games, unless you count Metroid Prime.

ALL of my problems with the current state of gaming were summarized in this "awards show."

Activision and Atari (Though granted, the current Atari is just a brand name for Infogram).
