This is the official thread to talk about Hayao Miazaki films, Studio Ghibli films, or upcoming films from the two.

Here is a fun fact that I made and proved, that in almost every Studio Ghibli/Hayao Miyazaki film there is at least one old women who resembles or has an uncanny appearence to Yubaba from Spirited Away.

To back this up, say any Hayao Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli film.

Wrong board. This belongs in General Entertainment.

Anyway, my favourite Ghibli movie is Kiki's Delivery Service and it is my firm belief that all of Miyzaki's films have been getting worse since it(although I've still yet to see Ponyo).

Though the setting is a bit boreing Ponyo is very good.

Oh there's another movie that have a Yubaba look alike, Ponyo, there is a old woman named Yoshi who looks like her.

In Howl's Moving Castle Grandma Sophie and the Wicked Witch of the Waste after her powers were drained both look like Yubaba
