So while strolling through TV Tropes, I came across a certain webcomic called "Breakfast of the Gods", which was just recently finished this year. Basically, it takes place on a continent where all the cereal mascots live, and follows a story involving Cap'n Crunch and Tony the Tiger, among others, trying to overthrow the evil Count Chocula and his henchmen. So yeah, it takes a lot of the cliches and characters from the good-ol' days and uses them to tell an epic story! What I like most is how it uses really old and sometimes really obscure characters. Like Cookie Jarvis, the original Cookie Crisp mascot. And the Freakies, who I never even knew until I saw this comic and watched a couple of their commercials on YouTube.
Go ahead and read through it. It shouldn't take too long, it's 3 "books" long and each book has about 30-50 pages in them... I think.
