Today (September 13) is the 25th anniversary of the Japanese release of Super Mario Bros..

COOL MOVIE!
(The games it shows also supports my theory on the numbering of the "SMB" series: 64 = SMB5; Sunshine = SMB6, NSMB = SMB7, Galaxy 1 = SMB8, NSMBW = SMB9, and Galaxy 2 = SMB10!)

Didn't even realize today was the anniversary, and just got finished playing Galaxy 2 for the day.

Also have just gotten around to watch the original cartoon series on DVD. Never saw those, as they aired weekday afternoons when I was at work, and could never catch them afterwards. The SMB3 and World series I did see, but got those on DVD as well.

You don't necessarily have to be married to celebrate an anniversary. Of course, not all anniversaries are good.

I'll like to propose a toast, to Mario, who made us have great childhoods and to survive through the years as the most iconic character in the world. .....OH YEAH! For also starting... or more like creating the video game industry.
