Game Maker lite 8

I just downloaded this and could use some extra help. Post tutorials or anything that would benefit me

Doesn't the program itself come with tutorials though?

In my opinion, I would not recommend you to use Game Maker for making games.
I mean, it's a WYSIWYG-based game maker, so it's really limited.
If you want to make a game in 5 minutes, then you're fine with that, but for games you want to have however you like, I'd study on some programming languages (C, C++, Visual Basic, Qt+, GTK, etc.).

Progamming laugages? Is RPG Maker better?

I use GM8. And just to ur know,it takws time, but with it can make almost eny game.
