It's strange nobody made a thread about it yet, as it was the major news in my country.
Anyways, Nintendo of Japan confirmed that Nintendo 3DS is Region Locked.
Nearly every site had this news, including mine.

Why would they do this

DS was great because I could buy games from the US or Japan and play them on either of my DS's.

This is not much of a big issue for me. I have a lot of DS games and only 2 are PAL. It would really stink, however, if I were to travel to France and be unable to buy any games.

DS was great because I could buy games from the US or Japan and play them on either of my DS's.
