I regret to tell you I've yet to do the "We Just Got A Letter" song and dance from Blue's Clues when I in fact did get a letter
A little while ago in Minecraft I made a boat and sailed all the way across the island to see what was beyond. I died, and so lost the boat, but I plan to get into the water and try to swim back to where I landed the boat and get it back, then explore the rest of the world I created. 🗺️

@MiracleDinner Wait a minute are you saying the boat disappeared after I died and left it there? That's....weird.

No, I was referring to the fact that when you die in Minecraft the items that were in your inventory spill on the ground and they vanish after 5 minutes if you are close enough for them to be "loaded in". The boat itself doesn't do that (if it was placed down rather than in your inventory when you died).

@MiracleDinner LOL-there's a setting in the world creation menu where you can choose if you want to make it so you can keep your inventory if you died and I turned it on, which is handy. Did you know about that? I have the Java Edition so I'm sure it's available in other versions.
Hey Ray Trace I really hope your arm is starting to feel better. I've sprained myself before once or twice. I know it really hurts. I hope you get better soon, especially with the holidays approaching and all that (obviously I mean so you can celebrate them, not work on them LOL; I don't think anyone should work on Christmas; they should get to relax and celebrate the holiday). 🎄 Anyway yeah hope you're feeling better.
I thought I'd post an update on my progress in Mario & Luigi: Brothership! I'm happy to report that I'm really enjoying the game.

I have just relit the third Great Lighthouse, and have encountered Bowser and his minions battling against Zokket's forces. After noticing the brothers, Bowser blasts them off of Shipshape Island. They have now washed ashore at an unknown island… ooh…

Happy to hear you're enjoying it a lot, Sparks! I hope I will feel the same way when I eventually get to play it.
According to my dad, people's opinions about the Holland's Got Talent finals last Friday have been quite mixed. While I agree with a lot of people that a different act should have won, I'm still glad for the winner all the same, and for the rest of the stuff that people are saying about Got Talent, I feel people need to stop their pissing and moaning, because while I get that Got Talent is a cliché ridden concept, I still enjoy it much more than something like The Voice or Idols or something like that, because Got Talent at least has more variety compared to the other shows that are purely singer oriented.
Goldfish are easy pets to keep.

For them to live through their short life span of 10-20 years, you just need space for a 28+ gallon tank (bigger is better) that's at least 4 feet long so the fish can grow to its proper length at over 1 foot long and the tank has been already cycled for several weeks with a strong filter to deal with the high ammonia and help oxygenate the water, and the temperatures are kept low. Extra fish will be just 10 extra gallons, some goldfish can get lonely.

Don't put them in bowls, that's just putting a baby in a portapotty for life.

So Cosmo and Wanda needed a bigger house?

They definitely needed a MUCH bigger house but I think in one episode that castle inside is a lot spacier than it appears. Also they keep the bad stuff down with magic I'm sure.

Love your new profile picture and name. It's a flashback to my childhood. I love Atlantis The Lost Empire and grew up with it. The sequel wasn't as good, but I liked that too.

@Wendy O. Koopa I actually only just watched Atlantis: The Lost Empire myself, but I thought it was fairly good, I really like Milo a lot though so he's my theme. Disney direct to video sequels get a bad reputation in general and I've heard Atlantis: Milo's Return is not one of the exceptions to that, but I'm still planning to watch the sequel, but though it's based on multiple stories I could see myself not strongly minding it if it focuses on building on the characters from the first movie, as while I really like some of the characters in Atlantis other characters I wanted the movie to expand on more.

@Milo Thatch Interestingly some Disney direct to video sequels were pretty good. Lion King II Simba's Pride is REALLY good; I love it. Toy Story 2-that one was just as good as the original Toy Story. In general direct to video sequels are usually with any company bad but there's some gems in there once in a while. Kind of the same thing with just sequels in general. Like Terminator 2 was really good too (I'm a Terminator fan as well as a Disney fan BTW). That wasn't direct-to-video sequel but it was still a sequel, and fortunately, it was really good. Can understand why sequels often aren't as good as the originals-it's hard to top the originals. Like, it's a really precise formula. First three Indiana Jones movies, out of those the only bad one was Temple of Doom; Raiders of the Lost Ark and Last Crusade were masterpieces. I found Indiana Jones Dial of Destiny disappointing as well, specifically because it lacked all the things that make an Indiana Jones movie good-fighting action and traps and all that-but Crystal Skull, a lot of people don't like it but meh, it wasn't that bad; I actually enjoyed it. Unpopular opinion I know. Terminator Salvation and Terminator 3 and all that were pretty bad but, like, I'm a completionist so I had to watch all of them so I watched them anyway. I thought they were ok. Just ok though. I really do think that Warner Bros. was really messing Terminator up when they had possession of the franchise. Looking forward to "Terminator: End of War" which is coming out in 2025. I hope it'll be a satisfying ending. It probably will be the last one as the franchise is in fact over 40 years old now, and Arnold Schwarzenegger is getting old (in age I mean; he'll no matter what always be cool).
Just so you know, Rugrats in Paris is currently free on YouTube, really good movie (Get an ad blocker first though if you don't want to be constantly interrupted)
I know I haven't been here basically at all in like a month so let me just say there's a couple reasons for it. For one, over the course of October, I had a really big dropoff of my actual interest in being here so I decided to just step back for a while.

But then November started with me having to listen to a group of nine people shit on my writing style and be surprisingly ableist about it? All the things they said were bad about my story could just be chalked up to "This is something I struggle with because of my autism" and it hurt a lot because I couldn't defend myself.

And then the election happened and my spirit was completely broken. I'm still trying to come to terms with it because I'm terrified of a nationwide ban on trans rights, even though I still think the states that I'm associated with (Illinois and Massachusetts) will keep protections in place for trans people. Needless to say though, I'm very tired and scared.

I'll just have to see what happens with my life and the world and everything to determine if I'll ever come back fully. I might still drop in from time to time to finish out my term on the Poll Committee but things are pointing toward retirement right now.

If you do want to keep in touch with me, the best way to do that is by sending me a friend request on Discord. My username is multimediacelebritypoker and I have it open basically all the time.
Time to avoid Mario and Luigi spoilers like the plague

My tier list of the enemies I hate the MOST in Minecraft now that I've been playing it for a little bit LOL. These enemies are so freaking annoying.....I wish they didn't spawn at night. Like, I'm not that angry at them-but I do hate them. They greatly irritate me. LOL also each enemy I put down here will have an emoji depicting how angry it makes me. First second and third worst enemies will each have a trophy as well-gold for #1 most hated enemy, silver for #2 most hated enemy, and bronze for #3 most hated enemy.

1. Skeletons. They chase me and they shoot me with their arrows over and over again. Argh! I can't stand them.🥇🖕

2. Spiders. Everyone who knows me in real life knows I HATE spiders (they have SCARY looking faces!) and I hate them in this game, too. They're harder to kill than both zombies and skeletons combined. They seem to really hurt me, too, when they attack me. And they're really fast. 🥈🤬

3. Zombies. They take so many hits to kill and if a horde of them advances on me I'm basically done for. 🥉😫

4. Creepers. They follow me around annoyingly and explode when I accidentally walk right in front of them. And if they explode next to me, they kill me.🤦‍♂️

5. The "Guardians" in the sea areas of the map. Even when they are not hunting me and I'm not even in the water at all, they still do that rip current attack thing with their mouths continually. It is so loud and when I'm near the water I can hear them doing it over and over again. I find the noise incredibly irritating.😒

So yeah, relatedly (did I use that term right?), I HATE all of the annoying enemies in Minecraft, so killing them understandably makes me very happy. Also may I add that the most irritating thing ever in Minecraft is when I'm trying to chop down trees to build my house, and zombies and skeletons and other enemies attack me while I'm doing that and gang up on me so they kill me and I have to respawn and have to literally walk all the way back to where the tree was I was cutting down? Ugh......

Anyway yeah LOL. I hate these enemies so much in Minecraft. What are some of your Minecraft enemies you hate the most? Can anyone relate to all of this? 😆

Yes, you put coal in the bottom square. If you run out of coal, I'd recommend using Wooden Planks instead as they're a decently efficient and easy to get fuel source.

Nostalgia from my childhood with Nintendo. Game Boy Advance SP was my first handheld ever:

Also here's the Game Boy Advance SP Nintendo NES Edition I got from Ebay:

NES GBA.png
Nintendo's recently released their sales figures, and one of my favourite things is this from their presentation slide:
1731047319214.png

I know it's not much but I revel in the fact that Mario Party is big enough to be placed side-by-side with the other two greats, Super Mario and Mario Kart. Mario Party is a favourite series of mine so to see it get an upgrade in how Nintendo sees it is very reassuring, not only for its popularity but for its future. If Jamboree sales were added (note that the sales were up to September 2024, before Jamboree released), it could very easily sell better than Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (at 35 million currently).

The only thing missing is comparing the series with their 3DS+Wii U games, because I want to know how well (or not) their 3DS Mario Party games did overall, since Star Rush and Top 100 didn't reach a million. Note that Kirby, Metroid, Xenoblade, and Pikmin have this comparisons so we were able to get a rough idea on how well their less-popular games like Hey! Pikmin and Kirby Battle Royale sold (the former definitely would be good to have a Switch port even if it's not popular with fans, so that every Pikmin game that's not the mobile one gets to be on Switch).

Thank you for reading.
Sorry for the hiatus again... school is school. Although I just got the perfect thing to say. Mods, if/when you read this, I want you to know that you all are most likely the purest and kindest team to work a forumI'll ever have the pleasure to meet. I don't need to explain it, I'm sure everyone knows why. But... thank you, moderators and patrollers and everything, for being a person with heart, kindness, and compassion ❤️
I've sustained a workplace injury from excessive repetitive motions several months ago and just now I got my CA-2 approved so that's cool. My right forearm hasn't felt the same since I first felt it all the way back in June.
