Random thought I've been having lately: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I sometimes can't help but wonder if Ben Schwartz and Ben Savage are the same person, just with slightly modified appearances.
I've always been a generation behind in gaming..
I want to know the thrills of playing games as they come out.
I.E. I'm playing Mario & Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. And I'm imagining what it would be like playing this back to back with the actual Olympics as the games intended.
And like.. when games have online play, like the Mario Kart World coming out.. I want to be a part of that experience of playing while everyone is a newb.
Well everyone here's another My Little Pony daily life picture for you all. Flurry Heart had to go to the hospital and just got done having a routine ear tube surgery. I can actually personally relate to this because when I was little I got a really bad ear infection after swimming in my friend's dirty backyard swimming pool and so had to have ear tubes put in and later removed.
The release and success of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 should be a sign for Nintendo to get back and revitalize the traditional turn-based style of the first two Paper Mario games.
New requirement for joining this site: You must perfect every song on Gorilla mode in each Donkey Konga game and I mean all of the songs, even the ones that are only specific regions
@Pipsy Mouse Looked up the character you're using as your avatar and discovered something interesting. I thought Pipsy Mouse was a character from an old preschool show based on her appearance, but she's actually from Diddy Kong Racing.
I plan on, to satisfy the people who want me to make a gaming joke, compare Italianese with Italian. I need a good one, "edutitato" isn't great, but I've got an Italian phrase ready
just saw that article about how someone beat the switch 2 version of tears of the kingdom at one of those 'try the switch 2!' events in only 15 minutes
fuckin SERIOUSLY nintendo is charging $80 for this shit?????? $80 for 15 minutes of content? fuck outta here.
I don't really know what to do with the planned 'Shroom section I had (Context is on the MarioWiki Discord server). Not really sure if I want it to be a comic or not, but I do want it to have a story and art. If anyone is willing to help with ideas or the thingy in general, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Since May is usually celebrated as the month of merfolk within the visual artist community, I was thinking of theming my profile after a mermaid or merman for May, but I'm at a bit of a loss as to which mermaid or merman character I should theme after. Any of you guys got any suggestions for what might work?
Playing a GBA game can feel like playing a high-quality old web game to me, I attribute that to the midi music mostly and the higher fidelity than the console's predecessor but not too high-fidelity graphics, also the fact both of those were used for actual fan web media of the 2000s EVERYWHERE. A more personal factor is that the first games I emulated were GBA games some summer vacation very long ago on a crappy laptop. Playing A Link to The Past and hearing Ocarina of Time's Link's bitcrushed voice is so silly and cute, I love the advance ports, they encapsulate the feeling perfectly. Listening to god-awful quality audio over this pixel art from forever ago, it's someone's idea of "advanced" from years relatively NOT so long ago and I love it.
