    I can feel it...
    It's coming to an end!
    ARRRRGH-
My Punch Out!! phase is coming to a close.

I'm not the only one who goes in phases in what I listen to, watch, play, etc, right?
Before Punch Out!!, it was Mario & Sonic, and before it was Undertale/Delta Rune, before that it was Kirby Fighters 2, but now, it's-
Oh wait, if I say, it may give away my February theme... (Everyone is going to be so eager to find out what it is, and then they'll say, "Who?" or, "Seriously?")
So, the Mushroom City Car Wash is clearly the most popular roleplay here, with about a dozen active contributors and over a thousand pages of content. But what's the second most popular one?

By post count, The Altonia Files (original) is second at 6K posts.

I blame that on HEROMARIO and White Lightning. It really got away from me after the hundredth page.

Mushroom City Car Wash is one of the most popular threads on this forum, period. The number of replies is the second-most in the forum, after the Click Here Post Here thread in Mindless Junk.
Anyone up for a little SSBU? I have an arena set up. The password is 04726.
When does the 'Shroom come out this month? I can't find the schedule.

The issue releases tomorrow. Usually, it releases on the third Saturday of the month.

    It comes out tomorrow!

It's a bit of a strange situation, because this is a transition issue on account of the ongoing Director Election, so The 'Shroom calendar has not yet been updated yet (because competing tickets may have different proposed schedules for the year).

The election ends in just a few hours, which means the new directing team will have been decided by the time issue 166 comes out, so the 'Shroom calendar will be updated tomorrow (the Wiki main page and the 'Shroombox you can put on Wiki userpages have the date of tomorrow's release, though).

No, seriously. Is he mad (angry) or mad (crazy)
Punch Out!! has been on my mind a lot lately (If you haven't noticed). Should I make a thread about it?
The Green Knight just pointed something out to me. Fury Bowser... could be in the next update for SSBU, adding to Bowser's Final Smash.

Not as part of an update though, as far as I'm aware.

yeah it wasn't part of an update. even when they said that they're reworking stages to have steve, not even something like its stprm file was altered.
How exactly does one beat the ludicrously powerful Mr. Dream in the original Punch Out!! ?
Now that Nintendo owns Next Level Games, I hope that means we'll get more games from them. (More Mario Strikers and Punch Out!! please.)
Say, Schroeder, did Beethoven ever write anything for the accordian?

I'll bet he could have written some pretty nice accordion pieces....
Oh yeah, I got Punch Out!! for the Wii and made it to Great Tiger in Title Defense. I LOVE it and intend to do a gaming challenge soon for my YT channel. (By soon, I mean in the next few months.)
I think Bear Hugger is my favorite. Von Kaiser is also pretty good too.
Apologies for disappearing. My family decided to have a screen free week and we finish tonight. Won't be on long, though. I have a tournament tomorrow and I have to study,

I finally figured out why Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam is my favorite Mario & Luigi game: nostalgia.

Most people don't like it as much because it doesn't feature any original characters. (Beanish, Hooskis, Shroobs, and new bosses.) But that's exactly why I like it. I can recognize and identify every character in the game without having played it before. (That's not to say I don't like new characters, I'm just glad there's one in the series that features classic Mario characters.)

    Just a thought.

Nostalgia pretty much fuels a lot of our likings of things. To some people, liking the original characters is their nostalgia.
