JUST IN: One of my favorite Nintendo YouTubers Master0fHyrule has tested it himself, confirming SM64 in 3D All-Stars is based off of the 1997 Japanese rumble rerelease (same as Japanese Wii/Wii U Virtual Console).

(FYI: When the World of Light was revealed in the November 2018 Smash Direct, it was commonly speculated that Cristina Vee was going to voice Zelda in Ultimate. In a similar vein, when Puyo Puyo Champions' English voices were made public, it was widely believed that she voiced Serilly the mermaid. Both of which are ultimately reported to be false by the site few months after the respective releases of both games, with instead crediting Brandy Kopp and Christine Marie Cabanos respectively. Furthermore, they also made clear that, contrary to common belief, Kopp didn't FULLY replace Jun Mizusawa as the VA of Zelda; rather, she is voiced in all regions by Ayumi Fujimura otherwise like in pre-release demos.)

Hello, guys! Recently, SmashWiki made a "foreign names" template just like other NIWA Wikis. Discovered it when I went to post an unrelated trivia about Jigglypuff, and it's totally well-formatted! But this isn't the main subject of today's post.

Some people may know her from the various comic dubs on YouTube, but I'd like to introduce the artist of my new pfp: Kira-Vera. I discovered her via TV Tropes iirc, and has become one of my favorite artists since. She is known for making various mini comics and posters around Smash Bros. characters, as well as other gaming stuff including Pokémon, Animal Crossing and Persona 5. So, I had some interesting discovery when browsing Smash for Wii U's files in The Sounds Resource.

Captain Falcon, Meta Knight, Luigi, and Peach all have their leftover voice clips from Brawl in for Wii U's files, but none of them are present in Ultimate's equivalent files. I guess the devs didn't port them because they thought those files would be unused again?
