    I spent most of the morning writing the rules for my new forum game. Hopefully you guys enjoy it! The game will be refined and kinks will be worked out as we go along and I figure out what does and doesn't work.

    I've had this epic forum game idea brewing in my head for the past couple of hours. It's gonna be part roleplay, part rags to riches, part killing game. Basically, you can enter one of your OCs into the game, then, each real life day, you can have your character do several actions, like working, buying groceries, or Naruto running in a chicken suit pulling a cart of WT cereal. Every so often there will be minor and major events, with the minor ones being things like a new establishment opening or special item showing up, and major ones being competitions with big coin prizes. I've been spending quite a bit of time developing this idea and I'm excited to post the OP (probably tomorrow). Hope to see you guys there! :D

    I admire the enthusiasm and it sounds interesting, but to be honest, I think it would be a better experience for both you and the players if you spent more than just a couple of hours planning out a brand new forum game concept before posting it.

    I haven't even been awake for five minutes so my vision isn't fully focused yet and I thought you said Chris Pratt for some reason.

    Holy shit, it just hit me that it's November now. I'll have been on the boards for a year in less than two months, then it'll be 2022 not long after, THEN my birthday. Wowee, I'll have to do something special to celebrate the anniversary!

    time flew for me especially over the long summer in between my final year of school and university, it was like 3 months was over before i even knew it. october has gone pretty slow for me though because university is haaaarrrd. my 2 year anniversary was a few days ago on the 31st and i could hardly believe it

    I don't know why 2021 has gone by so much faster than every other year in recent memory. It's been a wild ride for me including changing my plans to live with my boyfriend three different times, actually starting college and somehow doing well, getting treated like an adult for once, and all kinds of things that felt like they weren't that long ago.

    And don't get me started on my anniversary on the boards in May. I'll have been here for nine years and that's fucking insane to me.

    So, I was looking at the upcoming games catalog and saw a game in the opening post: Super Metroid Mafia. It was never fully realized, but I liked the idea, so... Who would be interested in seeing Metroid Fusion Mafia, probably sometime early next year?

    Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is kind of a guilty pleasure for me. It's one of my favorite games, despite most people not really liking it.

    We've been aiming for releases around 10 AM EDT this year, but there is a lot of manual work involved in the process, so we can't always guarantee a consistent time. Today, in particular, we have a fair bit to check, so it will likely come out a little later in the morning.
