Well, FWD rejected my application, which wasn't too shocking in retrospect. I was overconfident for even thinking it was 50/50 whether he would, considering there are two things during my recent Chairperson campaign I need to apologize for, one I'm positive is the major reason I was rejected, and the other being important too.
First, my comment about "lumping a ton of people in the Poll Committee makes it a feel like a less important position" was foolish of me, and I owe everyone an apology for that. I got carried away with the feeling of importance I felt due to my role on the 12th Committee, and said something not just arrogant and pompous, but dead wrong. The Poll Committee is about having fun coming up with new-thought-provoking and providing them for everyone, not about being better-known or important, and I know now just how completely erroneous what I said was there.
Secondly, I shouldn't have instantly assumed that an IP adding Gabumon's vote was not Gabumon, and called the IP a liar for adding the vote. I was both definitions of wrong, as well as immature and minimodding, and deeply apologize for that too.

Yesterday I tried to get my dad to apologize for stewing in anger and then boiling over at me in late-ish March because I had calmly told him not to double-dip in the cottage cheese earlier that day, but he wouldn't make amends and said he still considered it an "asshole move" for me to even levelheadedly point out not to double-dip just because I've made mistakes before too.

Having a lot of triggers happens, but when you blow up over someone requesting basic courtesy from you and then treat that as an excuse and not just a reason for your behavior and try to use that to not make amends for doing so, that is on you.

It's the two month mark until I take a trip to Iceland with my mom, and it's starting to fall further below three months until I move out. I'm also driving by myself to work now (as sometimes driving has been tricky for me but I'm getting better at it), and have a third shift for the summer now. I'm also starting a pillow sewing class at an art center next to my nearest lake in three days. I made a deal with my parents to get a membership at the pool for the summer too by paying $300 and they covered a bit over half of the family membership there, and I've gone today and yesterday and I really needed it.

At my restaurant job today someone serving my free meal for the job got unreasonably strict and said I couldn't have grits or cheddar biscuits because I ordered a burger and home fries, despite that literally any other time before I was allowed to have those extra two items with a burger and home fries. I hate when people act unpredictable like that
