Ah... That's concerning... I tend to stay away from weird stuff, because when it comes to the Internet, it is HIGHLY recommended to stick with what you're familiar with (or maybe I'm just too paranoid of having my eyes catch on fire from seeing something extremely creepy and beyond rational...
Well, I usually only have to do that if it's my first time drawing the character; some pictures here are older than others. After I've drawn that character one time, I can pretty much draw them again without needing the official artwork to help!
Actually, I didn't trace these; I came up with the poses myself (though the fact that you assumed it was based on official artwork is good news to me, because I try really hard to make it look that way). However, I do have an official artwork of the character put on the side of the drawing...
I first discovered it on the opposite version of that game [Mean Bean Machine], Kirby's Avalanche. I had no idea it was based on another game series until I got Kirby's Dream Collection and read through the Celebration Book that came with the game. I did some research on the Internet shortly...
I really feel like an otaku for saying this, but I kinda wish the Puyo Pop series got more recognition. Sure it's a huge hit in Japan, but it suffers from the same problem the Mother series does; only one game [Puyo Pop Fever] was released in the U.S. (or two if you count the Game Boy Advance...
Thanks guys, that means a lot! ;D Yeah, it's pretty rare to find someone who knows how to use MS Paint effectively. I think the main reason so many pictures that use that program are bad is because people try to draw the entire picture with the pencil tool (which I wouldn't recommend...
Indeed they were! The pictures usually take a while in MS Paint, but all the hard work really pays off, and I find myself improving with almost each new drawing!
I've been working on a Mario fan fiction comic series (which includes crossovers) ever since 2002, but it has yet to be published; I had only decided to post it online last year. However, I've been working out the details of the story, and I've gone through many different ideas, some amatuerish...
Yeah, I'm a new face here on Super Mario Boards, so just to make my presence known around here, I figured I'd start a little topic thread! I'm pretty good at drawing, so I'll share some of my digital artwork with you guys! I'll start with something on-topic and post some Mario pictures. Let...
A remake of the original Paper Mario, huh? Well, obviously, graphics will be updated. Another thing I could see happening is the partners getting their own HP like how it was in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. The soundtrack would more than likely receive a remastering, but if they were...
Welp, I'm new around here, and this is the first topic to catch my eye, so I figured I'd throw in my two cents! Keep in mind that I'm working on a web comic series based mainly on the Mario series, so my headcanon will sound rather complicated and doesn't deviate too much from the series canon...
