We take that our wiki's Smash content is popular. But just because Wikipedia pages for games rank high on search results doesn't mean that Wikipedia should create articles of every single minor part of the game like we do, as they are not a Mario Wiki, just a general one. In this case we are a...
What do you think of a SNES mini? While you can't add games to the system and thus are just limited to the 21 games included, you do get two controllers and 21 good, well-emulated games in one package.
I will nominate Shadow (From Sonic), Knuckles, Mega Man X (try to make him different from regular Mega Man), Bandana Waddle Dee, Nintendo Labo (in general), and Dixie Kong. For a more unique choice, how about Monita from Nintendo Land.
It varies by place, but often in some places school starts in August, while in others it starts in September. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_day_of_school.
Option four. While I think that stuff like loot boxes in free-to-play games suck, and I much prefer Super Mario Run’s model, but as long as the games the you pay a one time fee to play don’t have any free-to-play gimmicks, then I’m fine.
Ducktales: Remastered (Wii U)
After beating the tutorial stage, I tried out and died in each stage. The closest I got to beating one was in the African Mines and the Amazon, where I got to the boss. Having a good time so far.
While I don't have any as in-depth opinions on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe due to that game's popularity there is not much to explain, I will say that it is a really good port: in fact, it is a great example of how to do a good port. I adds great new content, such as a much, much, much better Battle...
One of the most interesting Mario ports in my opinion is the Game Boy Color version of Donkey Kong Country. There are many attempts in both the past and the present to port games to inferior hardware, some of which are extremely similar to the original game, such as the 3DS version of Captain...
We have a large amount of new fas. MarioWiki:Featured articles/N/List of Weapons in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, MarioWiki:Featured articles/N/Mario Party (series), and MarioWiki:Featured articles/N2/Mario Kart (series) (which passed). We also have MarioWiki:Featured...
What I meant was that if we followed the mentality of creating articles of anything that something from the Mario franchise can interact with, we would be making pages on Zelda enemies, so Chain Chomp Zelda appearances being covered on his page is not my point. I get what you mean, though...
Just because something can interact with Mario does not mean it is something that is Mario enough that it should be covered and vice versa: in several Legend of Zelda games Chain Chomps can defeat enemies, yet we still do not cover those enemies despite those enemies appearing alongside a Chain...
We should not keep the information just because we do it better than the real Smash Wiki. While this sounds selfish we should try to focus on ourMario content, and they should focus on their Smash content. If people only want to edit Smash articles, wouldn't it be better to have all of the NIWA...
What pertains to Mario is if it is from the Mario franchise or if it appeared inside the Mario franchise. Banjo pertains due to appearing in DKR. Smart Bomb does not, it is from Star Fox and the only time the franchise interacted with it was in a non-Mario game, Smash.
Technically we could still delete the Sonic and Dragon Quest info as those do not pertain much to Mario either but that is a separate discussion. Regardless, I am fine with keeping the character articles/info as long as the rest of the non-Mario info goes.
It is true that Mario is a large Smash influence, but that does not change how we should cover it. And even if most of Smash is Mario in SSBU there less than 30 Mario stages out of 103 total 11 out of 80 fighters, etc. So would should not cover the rest of the game just because some of it is...
It would be inconsistent to cover a character's info from Smash that is not from the Mario franchise and not for others. A reader would only look for his appearances in the Mario franchise on his article on the Mario wiki not on his Smash appearance. Plus the harm would be editors spending time...
While yes, Mario's appearance in Smash is major, it is small in comparison to everything else. In Mario & Sonic, for example, Mario is half of the game. In Smash, he is a merely small fraction. A better way to word the differences would be "crossovers which are largely Mario" and "crossovers...
If you remember https://www.marioboards.com/index.php?topic=39608.0 this subject then you will remember how we decided to cut down on our Super Smash Bros. content. But honestly: the extent to our coverage of the Super Smash Bros series is still too large. We still have pages on characters such...
The Thwomp Train:53Y-T2J-HMG A level where you ride on sideways Thwomps while dodging obstacles.
The Lava Bubble Factory:MGW-R2T-SSG A level that uses Lava Bubbles in different ways. Also has a boss battle against Pom Pom.
Gooigi is used in single player. The player can switch between Gooigi and Luigi. Gooigi is nessecary to cross spikes and go through certain walls. He can help slam large objects. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSGgCfbYrg0&t=117s) So he is a large part of the game, with him being nessecary to...

While I wrote most of the last part of that section of a sentence I wanted to point out how generic the name "Shy Guys with a knife" is, and how thankful I am that the treehouse decided to make up a much less generic name for them.
Re: 20 Day Video Game Challenge - Day 15: Game everyone should play at least once
All of the above, also adding Super Mario World, Shovel Knight Treasure Trove, TLOZBOTW, TLOZLBW, and DKC2.
I was thinking about creating a Infinite lives page documenting all of the times that there was an infinite lives trick in a game, and Alex95 told me to ask others if they think a page on that should be created, which is what I am asking.
Both the Blue Key (Paper Mario) and Muss T. pages covered everything about their subjects and thus were not stubs, so I removed the template. As for Time Limit listing the different amounts could be useful, although you may want to go on the staff board to see what the admins think.
