actually after some thinking, the reason they released this mini direct without an announcement before hand is that they wanted to get the relatively smaller news out of the way first
I bet they're going to give an announcement for the main direct pretty soon

honestly, this was a pretty underwhelming direct
the only upcoming game we already knew about that was here was kirby: star allies, and everything else was either ports or DLC. I'm sure the twewy port and dark souls remastered are great additions to the switch's...

the way they've been hinting at it, this is going to be the biggest direct of all time
usually nintendo just announces directs without any warning
Resident Evil 4
controls are kind of wonky but otherwise it's pretty fun so far
Persona 5
went throught the first two hours of the game, and I am really liking this so far. I'm a sucker for games with style and this is no exception
finished trigger happy havoc, might as well give my character ranking

Dynasty Warriors 4
just got it today, and it also happens to be my first dynasty warriors game (hyrule warriors doesn't count)
it's mostly good but goddamn is it a timesink

but yeah, odyssey looked absolutely insane, the square enix rpg really tickled my visual-loving bone and doom and wolfenstein 2 coming to switch is huge for the triple-a scene on the switch, but otherwise it was a lukewarm direct
not to mention only eight cities are participating, five of which are on the east/west coast
way to screw over a good part of the united states, nintendo
