It depends on what spin-offs and what platformers they are, it'd be more specific. Like, I prefer most Mario Kart games to the original Super Mario Bros., but I like most main series games more. Overall, it's kinda hard to decide.

I got it the other day. From what I've played so far(I got to world 6), it's fantastic. The star coins are actually pretty difficult to collect.

Yes I've been saying that ever since I got the game. :P Linear levels should be kept for the 2D games, not for the 3D ones.
