I'm even more amazed how people seem to think Mario abuses Luigi.

Mario kidnapping Peach?! That's a bit silly. Rosalina and Peach have stomped Goombas in 3D World. The only thing I've seen that resembles a peace treaty is so that they can go kart racing.

...Which makes every doomsayer's opinion irrelevant. (Not that they were in the first place.)

Besides, if Mario is a monster, then so is Luigi, Blue Toad, Yellow Toad, even Princess Peach and Rosalina!

The Goombas Mario stomp are recruits of Bowser's army that have been sent to kill him. If Mario was REALLY a monster, then Goombario, Goombella, and the citizens of Goomba village would be dead in minutes.

Pokémon, Super Mario Land games, Link's awakening, maybe even Shantae. All those are good.

I agree. SMS is my favorite Mario game of all time. I'd especially like to see a consistent Mushroom Kingdom if they ever go back to the free roaming style.

For some reason, the art style really reminds me of Paper Mario.

The Galaxy games had fantastic soundtracks.

I'm the first user of 2014.

Games with horrible controls, glitches, basically every LJN game.

I remember reading a Nintendo Power response to a letter that said that Mario is the only video game character that could beat Bowser and save Peach with his hands tied behind his back.

I remember going into this one game where there was just unnatural lag everywhere. (What I later found out to be the Matrix code.)

Barely, I always turned it off.
