I don't want to see a New Super Mario Bros game on Switch. I want to see a truly imaginative 2D Mario game, perhaps under the title 'Super Mario Bros 6' or something. It'd have a new art style (maybe with hand drawn visuals or something), orchestrated music, interesting world themes, new...
If you need a summary of some of the leaks, I wrote an article specifically about all the new Pokemon, forms and features added in these games here:
https://gamingreinvented.com/nintendoarticles/pokemon-ultra-sun-and-ultra-moon-leaked-all-new-pokemon-and-forms-found/
Like how...
Well, I finally beat all the missions and got 999 Power Moons, so I guess that's something.
As for insane jumps... well there's always that video I saw on Twitter of someone using a glitch to bounce off a dog repeatedly so Mario ends up on the floating platform in the Sand Kingdom. That's kind...
Well, I'll be interested in helping out with these pages. I mean, I've certainly got some good examples to illustrate the 'unwinnable' page, like the following:
Unwinnable by Mistake
The keys in the ScareScraper often don't spawn in Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, meaning the round is unbeatable...
Is there a reason we have the 'this name is conjectural' thing on glitch pages?
Because with maybe one or two exceptions, glitches are pretty much never named by the development company. No one at Nintendo say, goes through Super Mario 64 speedrun videos and starts naming the glitches shown in...
From the Color Splash page (other game references):
And from the Maple Syrup page:
Next up, trees from Mario Kart 8 make a cameo appearance in Mario Party Star Rush!
You can see what's it in for yourself. Someone posted a text list of the game files online, of which the music are the ones ending in 'brstm':
https://twitter.com/NWPlayer123/status/779383179845042176
Look like the Mario 3 area goes into a Super Mario Bros 3 style castle or fortress for...
Aka here:

That said, if someone posts the raw music files, I'll probably post normal length versions of the songs myself. Always been a bit confused by the obsession with making each song last for 30 minutes or more nowadays.
Oh, this should be interesting:
https://www.reddit.com/r/papermario/comments/543e2r/guy_preorders_the_digital_version_of_paper_mario/
You know how you can preload data for eShop games?
Yeah, Nintendo screwed up. Instead of sending out pre order type data, Nintendo literally provided anyone...
I haven't came across anything before, no. An interview with the composer would be great here, assuming he says anything about where the samples came from.
As you may have seen on Wario Forums, I tracked down the source for the voice clips used in the title song:
http://warioforums.com/index.php?threads/someone-tracked-down-the-wario-land-4-voice-samples.2030/
And it's got me thinking; would this sort of information be relevant on Mario Wiki? I...
No. I hate the mobile style for the wiki. Doesn't have things like the info boxes and categories on wiki pages, making it annoying to navigate and find information.
The ones with coloured backgrounds to the right side of the poll block here?
http://www.mariowiki.com/Main_Page
And if there isn't, could one be added? I'm sure people want to view the results for these polls, but they keep endlessly cycling and the view results link seems to have been...
Mario's world themes. Grass, Desert, Water, Forest, Ice, Mountain, Sky and Lava. Sometimes in that order.
Secret worlds that take place in outer space or another dimension.
Gimmick levels that have little to do with the rest of the game.
Well, it's now getting a Super Mario themed mash up pack, so that's something. And we've got pages for SSX on Tour, Skylanders and NBA Street V3 due to their Mario crossover content.
So yeah, should a page be added for the game?
I think larger glitches like Arbitary Code Injection might need their own article. Too much info to stick on a page with a bunch of others, and you need to be detailed here.
Same with the glitches in videos like this:
We need a good page for some of these bugs as well. So yeah, overly...
Shy Guy Beach and Sherbet Land from Mario Kart Wii can go to hell. Those tracks are literally built for the Magikruiser, and the designers didn't give a toss about balancing them for anything else.
Rainbow Road in Mario Kart Super Circuit annoys me too. Jump pads everywhere...
Yet it has less variety than New Super Mario Bros. I mean, the four New Super Mario Bros games alone provide plenty of enemies and species, yet Sticker Star hardly used any of those either.
Of course, it's debatable there too, given that old Mario game elements were clearly used. I mean, when...
Mario's Early Years:
This seems patronising even for 3 year olds.
On a story level, this has to be the worst (or at least most hilarious):
I think that might actually make Hotel Mario look less creepy by comparison.
Out of your ideas, I like DK Factory. Great idea, a Donkey Kong level which is based on the games but doesn't have a generic jungle theme. Maybe it could use a remix of this:
I had an idea for a Galaxy Reactor track too. God, something like that would work so much better than another...
Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door feels like the most well rounded, generally fun Mario RPG. It's a close call, I really liked Superstar Saga and Bowser's Inside Story too, but Thousand Year Door seems to have it all. Good characters, an interesting world, well thought out battle mechanics...
Seriously, it's 2016. We shouldn't need flash to view Youtube videos in posts.
Youtube itself doesn't really use flash any more, yet whenever a video is posted in the Youtube BB code, it defaults to a flash player and becomes unusable if you're using a browser without it (or adblock).
Any of those palm shredding control stick rotation mini games in the first Mario Party title. God I hated Pedal Power and Tug 'O War:
Oh, and luck based mini games. Screw you Game Guy. And screw whoever thought Get a Rope was a good duel mini game:
Isn't that just quality game design?
Shy Guy Beach from Mario Kart Super Circuit and Sherbet Land from Mario Kart 64. Okay, not in their original games, but they suck in Mario Kart Wii. Cause literally the whole track is off road, so a large amount of vehicles get screwed over simply for being 'unsuited' to these tracks.
For...
From the Mario & Luigi Dream Team glitches page:
It's been fixed... but not really fixed. Just maybe fixed.
Also, from the Digibutter.nerr description:
Yeah, they sure like making discussions...
Okay, Mario Kart Wii's glitch list needs fixing then. Thanks for the suggestion!
Problem is, a few of my articles and that Son of a Glitch video aside, no one's made a single article or video with multiple glitches in. That's a bit of an issue here, glitch compilation articles and videos are...
Yeah, that seems logical. It still raises issues though, in that a lot glitches aren't just one type of issue. For example, in Mario & Luigi Paper Jam, Toad Storage lets you win battles by dying in them, crash the game by starting a new mission and skip large portions of the game if done...
Yeah, it's been mentioned a few times now:

http://www.marioboards.com/index.php?topic=25386.0
http://www.marioboards.com/index.php?topic=28897.0
But either way, I think we need to start fixing up the ones for the games released in the last...
I never thought the bonus stat broke anything. If anything, the biggest game breakers were the badges, which is why their Battle Card replacements don't have stuff like time freezing any more.
The scene in Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door before fighting the final battle with the Shadow Queen for me. Where everyone gives Mario their hope:
And this one from Mario & Luigi Paper Jam, where Bowser annihilates Peach's Castle:
That's when we knew that Bowser meant business.
So apparently, you don't to have actually beat a boss now, you can just use a glitch to win by dying against them:
How the hell did this past testing? Just escape a mission midway through, then die at bosses to get an automatic super guide type function? That's ridiculous.
A pit of 100 trials would be interesting to see for this game. Maybe some of the enemies encountered further down would be based on those from the sequels, except in the style of the original game.
It could then have a nice 'superboss' enemy at the bottom which gives even the Master a run for...
Does the Wario Land series count? Cause 4 has a level set in a board game, complete with interactive dice blocks and random hazards. It also has levels set in a tower made of blocks, a notebook, a set of dominos, a pinball machine and what is probably meant to be hell.
If you want purely...
Yeah, I heard that as well.
But for the HP and stuff, I guess we can figure that out ourselves, right? And given how quick 3DS games are being hacked now, I wouldn't be surprised if it was data mined within about a week or two.
To an extent, yes. And honestly? I blame Miyamoto. The old man is getting in the way of the franchise and it adding new characters and content.
In fact, let me say this for Nintendo's staff; people do not buy games purely based on 'gameplay'. They care about new content. New characters, new...
So, given it's now out in the US as well, is anyone else adding content for this game? I've made the glitches page pretty comprehensive now:
http://www.mariowiki.com/List_of_glitches_in_Mario_%26_Luigi:_Paper_Jam
But I'd like to work on the Battle Cards and Lakitu Info Centre mission lists as...
