The point is, everyone, that of all the possible descriptions for the Donkey Kong board, our current one is pretty poor. We could have something a lot better.

Not that I am a member of Userpedia, but the music description appears kind of offensive and in bad taste, as it is discriminatory towards Deaf people.

The whole description just sounds lame though. We should change it...perhaps even to "Without Donkey Kong, there wouldn't be Mario" or something like that.

Actually, that whole description should be scrapped (cause Mario and Donkey Kong were trying to kill each other in their first appearance) and replaced by something like "Mario's first nemesis, and the titular character of Mario's first video game" or something like that.

Although relatively small, I would have to say the Super Mario Wiki is doing pretty good for itself. Of the many gaming wikis out there, we are probably part of the top best.

Stubs are fine. The problem is one or two sentence articles. A paragraph article is fine. Don't worry, a policy is in action to resolve these issues.

It's just a term we use, like species or character. Although we could say Universe or something, as we have an article on it. I dunno.

We are not going to be merging short articles. What we are going to do is try to have all new articles reach a minimum standard, so we don't have hundreds of one or two sentence articles all over the wiki.

The bandana and the paintbursh are independent of each other. I believe the paintbursh allows Bowser Jr. to become Shadow Mario. Junior just has a thing for masks - they allow him to represent something greater than his childish self.

He may have been the Shadow Mario from Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour.

Peachycakes does create fan games and characters. She has never vandalized beyond that.

Apprentices were pretty cool, as you could seem them advance into Snifitdom. However, they are so minor, I have to choose Shy Guys.

Bowser is the only member of the "Big Eight" not to "star" in his own game. Should the villain be given his own game, or should he remain in the role of a bad guy and occassional anti-hero? Also, if he does get a game, what type of game should it be, and what features would the game have?

Dry Bones, it's not that people don't want you to have a wiki. It is very hard to create a wiki especially when there are others that cover the exact same information, and then some. It's difficult to edit two wikis when the info is the same. People would rather edit one. I think Mario Wiki...

Seems kinda pointless to have the exact same info at two places. We at the Mario Wiki should definately create a Paper Mario Portal to organize all the info from the Paper Mario series (although it is well organized in templates and categories). We have a DK Portal already....

Sometimes wiki dies, sometimes they come back to life. It takes time. I was one of the very few editors here back in the day. But look at this place now.

The difference between the Rare Wiki and the DK Wiki is that we were officially affiliated with the DK Wiki. The Rare Wiki is a part of Wikia, and is out of our concern. If it fails - so be it. It's not the Mario Wiki's fault. Some Rare fans may come along someday and adopt the wiki, refreshing...
