The original Tomodachi Life was an interesting game. It was like an interactive screensaver or virtual pet game where you check in on the Miis every once in a while, instead of a game where you directly control a character. It was a strangely chill experience.
My next profile theme name will be brought to you by my finger slipping and hitting the enter button with my touch pad while in the middle of trying to come up with an idea, and I'm not kidding. Stay tuned folks. (It won't be very interesting).
I'm okay with clones as long as they can serve an interesting game play purpose. As said above, the metal characters allow for the creation of heavyweight medium characters, and Gooigi had unique mechanics based on his ability to move through certain walls and obstacles because he's part liquid...
I sometimes feel that it's strange in general that properties can be owned by companies that mishandle them or just let them wither into obscurity, just because they have the money to purchase paperwork that says anyone else can be sued for trying to tell their own versions of the stories to a...
That's a level in Galaxy 2, not Galaxy 1. There also wasn't anything in my post about beating that level specifically, which isn't a requirement for beating the game. I don't mean to be rude, but I think that you need to learn to read more carefully.
You should try searching for advice online...
The expression "right you are!" is a rare example of Yoda style sentence construction that actually saw real life use entirely unconnected from Star Wars.
Before the invention of the camera, no human could have seen how they looked like with their eyes shut. The best you could get was to look at a reflective surface, close one eye, then the other eye, and then transpose the two images mentally.
It happened at least one other time if you consider the inclusion of ROB in Mario Kart DS. There are also the Namco crossover characters in the arcade GP series, but those games are for a platform that has a much smaller audience.
Personally I would probably slightly prefer for Mario Kart to...
A while back, there was a challenge going on around the internet to redesign princess peach using the original sprite size and color palette. Here was my take. Sorry for the low quality, low resolution images seem to be blurred quite a bit when they are uploaded here. My current profile picture...
I also selected option 8. I have played the original Wii version of Donkey Kong country and enjoyed it, but I don't think the 3DS bonus levels and HD graphics are enough to justify a repurchase. I would only recommend it to people who haven't played a Donkey Kong Country Returns game since it's...
You remind me in some ways of Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender, as you seem to have a desire for peace and possess an optimistic and sincere demeanor.
My theory is that there is some sort of "doctor flower" or other power-up that gives Mario characters the ability to sling magic pills, because there is no way half of these guys made it one year in medical school. https://www.mariowiki.com/Dr._Mario_World#Characters
The obvious flaw in my...
I'd prefer sequels to dlc in most cases, and I think it makes more business sense to release new games too, since dlcs are much less likely to sell a system.
I know that miis are considered vestigial features at this point by Nintendo, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were dropped, but I hope to see them stick around for the new Mario Kart.
Maybe next time they can have more varied costume options, I didn't like that they were forced to wear...
Wait, I should have at least tried at least a basic search to see if something like that exists myself before asking the question to everyone here. I'm sorry.
The best I can find is https://copyright.gov/public-records/ but it doesn't seem to be easily searchable for the purposes of figuring...
Is there an easily searchable database somewhere that shows who holds the licenses to certain trademarks/characters? That would be useful, because it seems that there is a lot of confusion when topics like this show up online, and people don't end up referencing anything more substantial than...
Honestly I'm just happy that Nintendo is willing to experiment with Mario's art style and character design at all instead of keeping everything to an overused corporate standard model. It will likely lead to some misses, but it's worth it overall.
I'll also say, as someone who likes the Rare...
I'm not sure if this is what they're going for, but something about the way the track is set up makes me imagine a big cannonball run style race across the mushroom kingdom, where each leg of the race takes place in a different location on a long journey instead of being on separate tracks.
I will confess that despite my choice of profile image, I've never played Sonic Adventure 2. I just thought that the DARK story being highlighted was a funny way to reference my theme.
I usually play games for long enough to pick every character occasionally, although I have some slight favorites that I gravitate towards. I sometimes pick Mario if the people I play against or with pick characters that have significant connections to Mario (Donkey Kong, Bowser, Wario, Luigi...
It looks like you've gone through all seven koopalings. So you might move on to another koopaling adjacent character such as Bowser Jr, or the Koopa Kids, maybe even Boom Boom and Pom Pom.
Here are the results so far, Three characters remain. Lucario, Toon Link, and Palutena.
The next person to choose must save one character and cut the other two.
Thanks for playing everyone.
Save: Sheik
Cut: Greninja
Iggy Koopa is considered an alt costume for Bowser Jr, and not a distinct character in Smash so if you come back to post I'll let you choose a different character to retroactively cut.
It's become a popular trend to discuss cutting the smash bros ultimate roster in half, so I thought of a way to turn it into a forum game.
Rule 1: When you post, you must choose one character to Save which protects them from being cut by other people. You must also choose one character to Cut...
With the power of reverse image search,
I have discovered that your profile picture is of anime girl Goofy. Yes, you read that correctly, Goofy the silly dog man from Disney Cartoons. That was unexpected.
There are some areas where political discussion and video game discussion naturally intersect, such as when global events effect the availability or price of games, and how some governments censor or ban video games. For that reason, I don't think that politics should be entirely banned here...
I predict that canon name will be the most popular option. The names are usually iconic to the characters, I just like coming up with names myself when the option's there.
Some video games allow you to name the main playable character to help create a connection between them and the player. It's a small and not super important feature, but I still like when it's included. There are a few philosophies people have when it comes to naming characters, and I'm curious...
