So I saw the entire Tournament from The Runaway Guys
Jon ends up being the Champion

Also the next RunawayGuys Let's Play is Mario Party 2. That's going to be sweet.

I started watching Let's Plays a few weeks ago... I'm starting off with Chugga's LPs (he's the only one I know though.) Anyone have any suggestions?

My thoughts on some LP'ers.

Chugga: Too loud, not funny, puns can only get you so far, overall boring. Earlier LP's were better than all his new ones combined.

NCS: Doesn't interest me, get bored too quickly. He's not like Chuggaa where he tries being funny and fails, he just doesn't try at all and nothing happens, I watched maybe 10 episodes of Super Mario RPG and have up on him

ProtonJon: My depiction of a good let's player, commentary wise. Funny, good at th game, does a lot in his videos. A shame that he doesn't upload often

JoshJepson: He's also very good, I reckon he was better during his OoT and Rayman 3 LP's but now he's a little more... I don't know how to say it, losing his touch?

Lucahjin: watched a couple of episodes but she just didn't interest me

Hell, even the LP'ers tha I love like SSoHPKC are starting to wear off on me. If he did less gn games maybe I'd be watching.

Even though NCS got last place (again), he does seem to be doing better. Now if only Chuggaa didn't get that Hidden Block on the Last Turn. That was just plain anti-climatic...unless you skipped the first Mario Party LP.

Oh and also, Chuggaa won all 8 of his Hoenn badges in Emerald and he captured Rayquaza.

I thought that was like a super surprise. But the fucking 'turn your headphones down' thing ruined it again. And this is the first time in ages I've actually liked and wanted more episodes of the runaway guys

Well YMMV, but I like Chuggaa alot. He might be a little loud and maybe sometimes tries too hard to be funny. But I still think he has plenty of enthusiasm to what he does as he keeps his fans happy with updates and thoughts on Twitter and Facebook. I know he isn't the only one that does that, but I think he would of stopped doing that if he didn't care.

I don't mean to look like I'm using a forced analogy related to Ponies. But Chugga basically is the Pinkie Pie of LPers. He's incredibly popular, knows how to have a good time and is generally happy, and loud-spoken throughout his commentaries. Some people will like him for his enthusiasm and is known to laugh at quite a few things. Others will find it obnoxious. Heck, even Lucahjin in a tweet once said that "Chuggaaconroy is totally Pinkie Pie".

Yeah, he just comes off as... Well, like you said some would find it, obnoxious. He was less loud in the MP2 with NCS & Jon. And his puns were actually alright in that one. Maybe because he was focused on the game a bit more.

Well, TRG's tackling Western Land today. I'm personally rooting for Jon. What could be more epic than Mario and Bowser wearing cowboy clothes having a good ol' western showdown.

Although if the CPU is Wario this time, that'd make for a humorous situation with the bank robbery at the end because logically Wario would only stop Bowser from robbing a bank so he could rob it himself.

And it seems like the order of the CPUs this time is Luigi, Wario, and Peach.

It was enjoyable but the ending not so much. It was like a last second win for Chuggaa or Jon won and i Already knew the outcome :/

I actually felt bad for Jon early on in the board. He was having so much bad luck. I'm actually kinda glad he won. I hope the board totals end up being closer then it was in the first Mario Party. Also I'd love to see one where the AI manages to win just to see everyone else's reaction. I also hope Tim manages to at least win one board somehow.

Well, like they said, Tim is playing well but he just is having horrible luck.

been watching a luigi playthrough of mario galaxy by draculanturn.

Pretty neat, the guys not perfect so its entertaining, plus he's pretty dang funny.
