I've been watching ClementJ642 lately, who's a big Sonic fan/let's player. And he finished off a 7 part review of Sonic 06. If you have about 3 hours to spare, it gives great detail on why Sonic 06 was such a bad game. While we already get the gist that Sonic 06 was basically the worst Sonic game of all time. This really delves into all the major problems from the buggy gameplay, the story, and more. There's plenty of anger coming from him during much of it, which is definitely unusual since he's usally the calm type of Let's Player. But Sonic 06 is the worst game he ever played period.

Don't bother. I can confirm that all of his Paper Mario LPs have been horrible.

Yes they are.

He got a lot of facts wrong:

*He said you can go back to the Glitz Pit after Chapter 6. You can go back before starting Chapter 4, you just need to go back to Rougeport first.

* He said Flurrie's Gale Force doesn't give you Star Points.

There's more, but I can't explain them right now.

Chuggaa's oblivious to the partners strengths and weaknesses considering he favors Bow over Goombario. Bow is hands down the worst partner in the original considering she can't harm enemies with defense points and she can only attack one enemy at a time and get this, Spook scares the enemies away without giving you Star Points.

His PK Starstorm voice was really irritating.

As soon as he got Star Storm and Power Lift, he spammed them in nearly every boss battle if not every boss battle. Chuggaa has absolutely no sense of originality and creativity in this department.

In Super Paper Mario, he might've actually been able to finish one sub chapter per video if he didn't fool around so much. When answering, Red or Green's question, he answered it wrong so he could get kicked out because it's a "speedrunning tactic". Speedrunning tactics are supposed to save you time, not prolong the video. Then when he infiltrated Fort Francis, he purposely answered one of the Securimeow's questions wrong, so he could be sent to the dungeon and get Carrie. You're supposed to get Carrie from the dungeon before going into Francis' private rooms.

I know, I was just pointing out the flaws in Chuggaa's Paper Mario LPs, and the fact that everyone seems oblivious to these flaws, that's all.

okay, he did do moves like that once or twice, but so what? i'm sure most people did. and you're saying that like he did it all the time.

Sucks for them. You shouldn't watch a video to figure out how to play the whole entire game. You use it if you're stuck at particular parts, which Chuggaa does show how to do.

either way, that doesn't make it a major part of the let's play

That's funny, I don't recall saying I wanted Chuggaa to be 100% right about everything. I'd just like him to try and avoid saying something that's wrong and misinforming the viewers, which he could easily do if he said he's not entirely sure about the subject at hand.

Implying I'm only talking about this thread.

I was merely pointing out the fact that Chugga shows blatant favoritism and Bow's drawbacks, I'm not criticizing him for his opinions. If I wanted to disrespect his opinions, why would I be posting here instead of his videos? And don't talk to me about criticizing other people for having different opinons, that's happened to everyone whose logged onto the internet. You and I aren't exceptions and neither is Chuggaa.

Okay, fine. after hearing him say "PK Starstorm" the first time, I should've just muted my computer for all the later times he used Star Storm.

It may not be all the time, but it's still a lot. The real problem is that since he keeps using those moves over and over again, it prevents players who are new to the Paper Mario series from trying out different strategies and before you point out the fact that they can do it themsleves, they can indeed try out new strategies for themselves, but there are still some players who are horrendously bad that they can't pull off certain moves by themselves and need to watch someone else do it.

Using your "fork in the road" scenario, if there are two different paths you can choose, why pick the long, inconvenient route?

I really don't see how it's that flawed. You can hate the LP with everything you got, that's fine by me.

Your allowed your own opinion of it, just don't go being an ass about it.
