Super Mario 3D Land

It was said on Nintendo DS Blog that SM3L sold almost 3 Times more than other games on the 3DS.

I expected good reviews.

No, it's a great game, but the only big problem is, the controls.

I read the review and you complain about running and long jumping at the same time being hard and rolling being hard to master for speedrunners. Those are features that I'm pretty sure arent needed to beat the game. Theyre just there for speedrunners. I like the score but that is just being a tad bit picky.

Well it's one of the few good games on the 3DS right now

This game honestly doesn't look like 9.5-rating material to me, but I guess I'll have to play to figure out how good it really is.

I think it's ment to be better than it looks.

They still come in handy, especially because of Mario's acceleration.

Controls aren't bad, they're just harder to master than most other Mario platformers.

A Wii Remote is no 3DS.
I'm talking about the more advanced moves, the acceleration Mario needs to jump further (normal jump), etc.
I've now got more used to it, but it's still not enough.

The levels can be short, but there are 8 Worlds about Peach, and than 8 Special worlds, while Peach is already saved (you'll save Luigi in Special 1).

You really think so?
I always need to hold the X button to run in SM64DS, while I don't need that in SMG2.
Also, you can punch and dive in SM64DS, while in SMG2, you spin and shoot.

I always confuse the "X" and "Y" buttons.
Spinning isn't really the same, the functions are the same, but it still lacks features seen in punching.
And Z isn't diving, it's bending.
