Super Mario 3D Land

I hope you people are remembering to make sure you touch the top of the flagpole everytime or you're not going to be happy.

I just first tried out the Boomerang Flower and I'm disappointed. The Boomerang travels way too slow. If they would at least made the Boomerang travel at a Fireball's pace, it would've been alright.

I know but it can destroy banzai bill and Boomerang Bros's boomerangs also I collected ALL normal world medals and flags with Mario and ALL medals in special world 1 to 4 worlds medals and flags with Luigi

Where i can find Golden Tail Goomba

Special World? I dont know yet. My game is getting shipped. ozgameshop takes 4-12 work days to get their games to australia so I'm gonnahave to wait extra long. It's either that or pay an extra $20.

I know some people have rushed through the game and already beaten everything there is to beat. Its been out two days. Im just not into that rushing stuff. I am at 7-4 and gotten all Golden Flags and Star Coins and a handful of deaths, under ten, and all of them due to just plain carelessness on my part. Sure, some people may have beaten the game and all Special Worlds and played for 10 hours a day, I just refuse to play it that much in one day. I have played for about 3 hours so far. I didn't pay 40 bucks plus t to beat everything there is to beat in 2 days.

Where I can find golden tail goomba? Also special world sometimes force you to quckly beat the level, it have cosmic mario and 30 sec time limit

Well in those levels you collect clocks to extend your time.

I would much prefer that Mario can throw more than one Boomerang at once. I thought the Boomerang's speed was all right.

Do your lives reset in this game? Because my sister has 200+ lives and she is afraid of losing them all.

Nope and I have over 400 lives and I plan to get hatless Mario and hat small Mario by getting 3 crown lives

It is quite amusing how certain Mario games allow you to have as many as 999 lives. I actually have that many lives in Super Mario Advance 2 and Super Mario Advance 3.

Cosmic Mario races or Cosmic Clones from SMG2?

Does anyone know if you have to get the Flagpole Gold as both Mario AND Luigi or just beat all levels with Luigi to 100% complete? Are they gonna pull that shit where if that super guide equivalent block APPEARS at all, regardless of weather you activate it, you don't get the sparkling stars on your profile? Because the 2 or 3 times I saw the Gold Leaf block or whatever, I shut the game off without saving, (like they did in NSMBWii)and after beating the main game, my stars on my profile are sparkling. Is anyone's profile stars not sparkling?

That's all you need to know.

If you die less then 5 times in every level the stars will be extra shiny.

Well fuck, I know for sure I won't get those on this run because I remember seeing the Super Guide block on 7-Airship. At least I'll be getting 5 stars soon though.

Also, the game is pretty good. All the way at Special 8-3 (which is actually a pain in the ass). Honestly, my only concern with the game was the lack of creativity in some of the Special World levels, only adding a Cosmic Clone to some levels or shortening the time to 30 seconds. I think they should've created new levels for the Special World entirely and completely scrapped the absurd time limits and the very overused and monotonous Cosmic Mario/Clone races.

So I just got this game as a late birthday present.

I think it's pretty cool, but I'm constantly distracted by the 3D. See, the thing is, I'm torn between choosing to play this game in 3D or not. I feel like I might be missing something if I don't play it in 3D, or that some parts actually play better in 3D. But I can never tell if I'm holding it right, or if it's really supposed to look the way it does... Not to mention, I have to keep holding the 3DS in one position if I want the 3D to work at all, instead of whatever is comfortable.

As to the gameplay itself, I missed the Tanooki's Suit (as well as the Cape) and their ability to show down descent, it's AMAZINGLY useful! It's also weird to have to go down a flag pole after EVERY level, including the castle level.

According to my sister, if you have poor depth perception, this game will trouble you at some points.

I don't think near-sightedness relates to depth perception. BTW, I have terrible depth perception.
