Actually, i think it's based of the 3DS. Look at the buttons, the analogs, the arrow stick, and the camera!

Yeah I agree that the next 3d game should be a new concept not a sequel which would be a bit boring in my opinion; something new and exiting would be cool!

I must say, the Wii U pro controller looks like some sort of awesome fusion between SNES and GCN controllers, which is excellent.
