Wii U

I only get the European. White. Let them make a GamePad Capture Device.

So, Wii U has HD right? Does that mean I need an HD TV? I'll have both my Wii and Wii U hooked up to it. Will it make a big difference if it's on some big box television? I have gamecube on my wii, and I don't want them or the wii looking like crap because it's on an hd tv and not and older tv. My question is: Will it be ok to have them on an hd tv, and is it necessary to have the wii u on an hd tv?

But will my Wii U still look hd and good on some terrible old tv? Will I still get HD graphics or do I need the HD tv?

EDIT: Never mind, I think I figured it out.

So if a GameStop leak was correct, the Wii U games will cot $50.
Perfect for me. I've heard rumors that the American release will be the week of Black Friday, and Europe will be in December. I've also heard that the system will probably be around 250-300 dollars. Just rumors of course, but they seem to be accurate.

NSM, so you mean, that a European confirmation of Ubisoft, that we'll get the Wii U before the end of November, is as accurate as saying we're getting it in December?
That seems legit.

So the achievement system seems to be called "Accomplishments". Don't really like the sound of that.

You'll get over it soon enough. It's only a name, just call it achievements if it makes it easier. That's all they are really.

Still. This is good for me, since achievement's make me want to play a game a lot more just to get them all.

It are called accomplishments in StreetPass Mii Plaza as well, so I don't see the problem.
However it are called "Heldendaden" in Dutch (something like "Heroic Deeds" in English), which I find a bit queer. I hope it won't be called like that on Wii U too.

I've seen the same problem in Mario Kart 7 too.
Why does Nintendo give such childish names in Dutch?
I mean, English names on Nintendo Software sound way more mature.

Well, they did pretty well in MK7, except a few retro courses, like Paddenstoelengrot (trans. Mushroomcave, orig. Mushroom Gorge) or Wigglers Woud (trans. Wigglers Woods, orig. Maple Treeway). Those Dutch names are fucked up. But some of the simpler onces (Kokosnootplaza, trans. Coconutplaza, orig. Coconut Mall) are better.

Dutch is a bit hard to translate in games, because things that are deadly normal in English, sound harsh in Dutch, or more commonly, strange. They could have translated Maple Treeway in Esdoorn Boomweg.

I doubt I'll be getting this close to launch since I don't have enough money. :3
It does look quite interesting though. I'll be looking forward to Nintendo Land and Pikmin 3.
But I'd much rather get NSMB2 then U, so U probably won't be on my 'list' of games. :P
