This is weird, I got a random update thing for my 3DS after I noticed the corner was blue. I did get that update. But I have no idea what it did.
 
I got that. I think it was a notification about Club Nintendo.
 
I got that message already. It was something different I thought. It just seemed weird. It was like out of the blue, saw the corner, it asked me to update and I did, but I don't see exactly what it did.
 
Assuming you had already downloaded the most recent system update (available around the 8th), I'm guessing the message pertained to some minor technical improvements, though I haven't gotten any notifications since the Club Nintendo one.

Yeah that's probably it. (For a second I was almost hoping it was that SwapNote messaging system. That came out in Europe today or soon doesn't it? I know it wasn't to be considering I'm in the US but still)

Swapnote is pretty cool. I like how you can send photos to friends with notes. Already sent a bunch to my siblings and cousins. I made a Toad with a santa hat, and a big head. It was really stupid :P
 
I'll be getting a $20 3DS Prepaid Card on Christmas. Does anyone recommend what I should get with only $20 from the eShop?
 
I'd recommend anything you can recognize in the Virtual Console, 3D Classics: Twin Bee, and Plants vs. Zombies.
 
I'm getting an eshop card, I think, I want to get Links awakening and maybe either'Freakyforms.' or 'Mighty switch force' or maybe that 3d classic kirby game, not sure which out of that 3.
