I watched some videos and it looks amazing but I don't want to be disappointed when I'll have it...

Let's just say that if you love multiplayer games, you are not going to be disappointed by this game. If you have played the other installments of the Mario Kart series and have enjoyed them then I highly recommend this game to you. Wi-Fi mode or single player still are great fun either way regardless.

The only annoying thing about it is that items depend on your place, like you can get awesome items at 12th but you get lame items at 1st.

If that weren't the case, the races would be almost entirely dependent on luck rather than skill.

Let's put it this way: if the items were simply randomized without regard for position, then you could also get a bullet bill at first, but then if you were in 12th, you might get the useless banana peels. It gives items based off position because they are geared to be the most useful in those positions.

I got Bannna's in 10th

Poor you. Triple Shells are underrated because they can shield you three times.

But Triple Green Shells are pretty much useless, in terms of making comebacks. You need the Triple Red Shells if you ever want the chance to take back your lead.

I never use triple shells for attacking, just for defence.

I'll use Triple Green Shells for defense, but the Triple Red Shells are built for offense. If I'm in 1st place, however, that's when they become defensive.

My least favourite item to get in first place is FIBs (Fake-Item Boxes) because they don't block reds (red shells; green shells and blue shells can also be done like that). I also don't like using reds to block reds.

Triple Green Shells are definitely underrated items. They won me a heck lot of battle modes.

Strange, until Mario Kart 7's battle mode, the CPU NEVER received Triple Red Shells. NEVER. It's a really odd fact.

Nothing beats triple seven red shells. :P Not when the CPUs are using them.
