EDIT: MK3DS looks awesome! I saw a DKCR enemies on the courses too. Awesome car customization

EDIT:Super Mario 3D looks awesome too. Were those Tanoombas?

So, is Wii U a controller that can be used with the regular Wii, or is it a whole new console that looks just like the Wii?
 
Iwata mentioned it somewhere during the conference, when he was on the subject of the Wii U.
 
No Kirby or Pikmin info, but info on like 5 Mario games?

Goddamn you Nintendo. Goddammit Mario.

I think it is a console, but i couldn't hear Iwata all the time with all the noise in my home

Console. You can play games on the touchscreen as well.

So a recap of Nintendo:

-OoT 3D, Skyward Sword and lots of cool music
-Super Mario 3DS with the TANOOKI SUIT
-LUIGI'S MANSION 2 FOR THE 3DS
-Mario Kart 3DS with flying and driving underwater
-Project Cafe named Wii U
--Appeal to casual and hardcore gamers
-Kid Icarus: Uprising for both 3DS and Wii U
-More mature games for Wii U, something the Wii severely lacked that caused hardcore gamers to go away
-New Super Mario Bros. Mii (WTF)
-Mario Party 9? (featured in logos at the end)
-Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS

So overall, I was impressed. I just don't want the Miis. Also missing were Pikmin 3 and there were no announcements about PM3DS.
 
If you go back to their E3 site, there's videos on how the controller works.
 
Mario Party 9 was hidden in them logos at the end, on the right side...which proves it...WE GOT MARIO PARTY 9 COMIN TO US!
