Oh hush, Twilight happens to be my favorite one :P

Some people watched this cartoon and didn't like it, so there.

Plus, not all people qualified to be a brony refer themselves as such anyway.

Hey, I was actually contributing this time.

I might actually have a limited view of this, I only saw half of one episode (Some one where Applejack wouldn't let anyone help her) and one other one (Something about Spring cleaning and they couldn't do magic or something).

Are those episodes noted as being a bad example of the series or would they be fine for basing my opinion on?

Your talking about Applebuck Season and Winter Wrap-Up. Applebuck Season is considered one of the best examples of the show's humor to show. Winter Wrap-Up kinda depends on if your able to take singing. Though if those were the only 2 episodes you saw I think you just didn't get a good introduction to the characters. I think Episode 1 at least gives you a good introduction, even if you watch the entire pilot it can get really cheesy. For most Bronies once you've seen all of Season 1 you kinda realize that the Pilot isn't as strong as the other episodes but it's a necessary introduction if you don't quite get it if you just jumped into a random episode.

Huh, I like the Pilot as much as I liked the rest of the episodes I watched so far

Yeah the Pilot is still good at least in my eyes. But even so it's one of the average episodes to me. There is a bunch more that are more fun to watch.again. I'm not saying the Pilot is entirely bad though as without it I wouldn't have gone so easily into the series back in Late Feburary/Early March

I think the Pilot does a pretty good job at introducing the characters, though. It totally hooked me like a fishing rod or a black hole (like the one in the diagram) into the show.

Yeah no matter what for people who want to try out the show I tell them to see Episode 1 first. See if they like it, if they do I suggest them to see the 2nd one. If it was more meh I'd ask if there was anything they did like and point them to an episode that gives more emphasis on that character or a genre they like. Because for most episodes you won't get what the whole thing is about unless you see Episode 1 for a proper introduction.

That's neat. Hope it wasn't too bad for ya right?

Also I don't care if he just did this because he was asked to or if he actually does know alot about the fandom. This was awesome of the Nostalgia Critic/Doug Walker to do anyway

Hmm. I guess that my dislike is well founded then if the Applejack one if one of the best episodes and I still thought it was lame.

By the way, I was actually watching this with the target audience, my 5-year-old and 3-year-old cousins. Apparently that's odd...

True, it's probably really something as small as him being asked to do it. But meh, I think it's still something, however small it is.

Given that we only saw the last 5 minutes of the Applejack one.
Still, it gave the impression that this was obviously a kiddie show, what with the obvious "Don't be stubborn and let people help you!" moral.

If any of you guys are going to watch the premiere I just looked up an online guide. It's apparently going at 9:00 AM, reruns again at 9:30 AM and doesn't air any other time in the day. But no worries, for those who don't get the hub or can't bring themselves to wake up at that time: with how many Bronies there are by now including tech-savvy ones to record the episode and then as quickly as possible upload it on to the Youtube you should probably expect a decent quality vid up by Noon.

I'm willing to bet he isn't a brony, he just said it because a fan wanted him to say it. The NC doesn't seem like the kind of guy willing to admit that sort of thing is good, or at least has a hard time understanding why it's so popular with guys.

True but as I said before however small it is. Even if it's not necessarily something too positive him just agreeing to do it isn't anything negative at all. Whether he knows about it or not, I doubt he thinks badly of it. After all the Nostalgia Critic is a character, the real guy is Doug Walker. We don't even know if he's actually seen it or not, but even if it was just asked it's a good thing he agreed to do it.

Although, I just like it that at least some of my friends here enjoy the show. It doesn't matter to me who likes, hates, or doesn't know what to say about it. As long as I have good enough friends that can enjoy this and other interests or at least accept all our interests, including this show. Eh, what the heck might as well go cheesy here and Friendship is Magic!
