Mario Kart 7

Yes, we know some of you wanted E. Gadd or Lubba (who will literally never be playable in a spin-off ever). You take every available situation to mention it, so it's hard not to know.

So we have a psychic in the forum... Can you tell me if I'll be a millionaire someday?

Doubt it. I would have liked to see Lakitu, Boo, Toadsworth and Boom Boom as characters. I hope that the IMDB list thing also has the confirmed character list (Waluigi :waluigi:!!)

Lakitu is a character. But Boom Boom would make a nice addition to the roster.

I don't really care for more characters. The ones taht are there are good enough. A cluttered Roster on a Handheld would suck IMO. A Roster the size of MKDS or a bit more (Which it is) is a nice ammount. I just wish it would be out quicker T.T It's my most anticipated game right now.

Mario Kart DS's roster is crap, IMO. It's a DS game, but still. X(

That's just a rumor, there's no confirmation on that. Also, I really hope it isn't true because I don't like Babies in games where there is already an adult version you can play as.

I still have a preference of Baby Luigi over Luigi

This. R.O.B. was the worst and most random and awkward choice ever. And replacing E. Gadd for Dry Bones? Please.

I'm actually more surprised as to why they didn't select Koopa Troopa over Dry Bones. Not that I care much for the Koopa, but you would think that it would get some priority as a Mario Kart veteran over a skeletal version of itself. I guess Nintendo pulled out random characters even back in MKDS (ROB's arrival was definitely more unexpected than any of the newcomers we have in MK7).

R.O.B. at least took more thought to create than Dry Bones, despite its randomness.

Who Cares, I thought MKDS Roster was small, had enough characters for a handheld and I didnt complain saying "____ Didnt get in, I am dissapoint Nintendo! He's my favourite!". Your favourite might not get in, or characters you think 'deserve' to be in, the game is gonna be great, you can ignore the other characters and if youre that picky that you'll dtill complain, you might as well stop playing games, because every game has its flaws.

MKDS had awesome tracks that aren't in MKWii though
Well its a good thing they saved those good tracks for Mario Kart 7.

I still feel that some of the retro tracks in Mario Kart 7 should've been saved for the next Mario Kart installment, which will probably be for the Wii U. Hopefully, Nintendo will have the brains to reuse the retro tracks from the previous Mario Karts.

Question: Where did Wuhu Loop 2 come from? :P

(You can see the finish line marker in a different place)

So maybe Bowser Castle 1 from the GBA wasn't such a bad choice...maybe they're saving Cheese Land, Ribbon Road, Sunset Wilds, Lakeside Park, etc.

Because it's a handheld it shouldn't have good retro courses? Thats like saying Super Mario 3D Land should include less worlds so they can put the designs in a different game.

being a handheld doesnt mean it shouldnt include good tracks. And most of the retro tracks are getting Glider and submarine areas. e.g Mushroom Gorge, Blue Mushroom makes you Glide. Koopa Troopa Beach, going in water doesnt drown you and there are coins under the water as well.

That could be the Lap Marker. I watched the gameplay video of Wuhu Loop and there was a Lap Marker in a tunnel so that could just be another one.

What I mean is that when the next Mario Kart installment is made, if Nintendo doesn't reuse any of the retro tracks from the previous Mario Karts, the Retro Grand Prix could be running into a brick wall.
