Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

I watched BLOF play this fight and it took her a long time to beat it.

It's not an exciting boss fight when it takes 30 minutes to get that last Boo.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

One Boo by itself is no big deal since it can't transform into Boolossus which means you don't have to waste more time dragging it to one of the unicorn statues.

As annoying as Boolossus is, at least you get 15 Boos added to your total. After that point in the game, the Boos become very annoying to catch since they'll escape into another room, which wouldn't be so bad if they didn't escape into a room you couldn't access yet.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

BLOF said those 15 Boos could be made into more rooms.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

Personally, I wouldn't want to spend extra time catching those 15 Boos in seperate rooms as per my reason from my previous post

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

I consider that, too, but I would like more rooms for more portrait ghosts to catch or something like that.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

Speaking of portrait ghosts, am I the only person who finds it the least bit disturbing that Henry and Orville are ghosts just like their parents? Was the whole family involved in an accident or something?

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

Maybe they were born as ghosts.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

Nah, Chauncey was born as a ghost and it's natural for him to scream loudly in the night. (says so right in Luigi's Game Boy Horror) and he's only 1 year old, whereas Henry and Orville are 5.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

I think same goes for the Boos; they were all born as ghosts

Perhaps the twins were born as ghost, but four years earlier?

Which brings up the question: do ghosts age?

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

Had to dig through the Marioverse to find this, but:

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

That's awesome!

I know I am certainly dreaming, but I'll be glad if it were Baby Luigi as second player. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to it!

My guess is that Mario will be the second player.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

Maybe Player 2 will control a friendly ghost. But, controlling a unique character is kind of restricted to Paper Mario. :|

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

Unfortunately there probably isn't much of a chance we'll see Baby Luigi in Luigi's Mansion 2 (It would be awesome, though).

I expect Mario, E. Gadd, or maybe Toad.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

Maybe it's Lady Bow. Nintendo brought back the Koopalings in 3D, so why not the PM partners? Although more realistically, it could be the characters Crash mentioned, or maybe one of King Boo's minions does a Heel Face Turn.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

If there's another character I'm sort of willing to bet it's E. Gadd even if it sort of conflicts with the beginning of Luigi's Mansion when he states he's too old to be catching ghosts.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

I want some of the nice boos to return but have some evil ones too.
